Quite honestly movies have taken a huge dip in the last 15 years as a whole.  Quality is trounced on in favor of making a quick, easy buck.  Way too much formula stuff every single year - way too much.

You could probably say the same about the music industry, although the amount of years could be debateable to a degree.

Music is another story.

That industry has been absolute junk since the late '90s.

Let me stew on it for a bit.  I've seen a ton of flicks since 2000, tough to remember what's what.

1. How do you know what a "realistic" zombie is? Have you seen one in person. No you haven't ..so you can't say the zombies are "unrealistic" because they don't fit the stereotypical zombie category. Why do zombies have to have a fried brain? Since when do zombies need a to be dumb....

2. You first state that it is your opinion that the movie was overrated. Which is fine and respectable but then you go on to say the people who don't agree with your opinion and like the movie are dumb. I don't understand how you can call someone dumb for liking a movie while half the statements you typed didn't make much sense.

If you don't like...cool thats respectable, its your opinion. But don't try to insult the people who do like it.

I like how he insults people based on their preference. It's like a boomerang, the insult goes back to him. How ironic

I didn't like this. I hated myself for watching it. I put this right up there with I Am Legend.

Haven't seen this but I thought I am legend was very good and had they kept the original ending would have been a top 3 apocalypse movie of all time

It was very well received. It wasnt perfect at all. It's special effects weren't great and it's ending was wrong tone wise

But if you watch the movie with the alternate ending the story is incredible and will smith is incredible in it

The alternate ending is so much better than the one they chose its ridiculous

Idk, it just didn't do much for me. I expected more. Will Smith has been a let-down with his movies over the last few years or so.

The best part (and the best actor) of the movie was the german shepherd.

Just felt like something was missing from that movie. I think of it along the lines of either a buy or a rental and I think rental when it comes to this movie.

The movie bothered people because will smith was basically by himself for like 3/4ths of the movie but I found that to be interesting because his character grows so much from start to finish and that's why the ending the director wanted was so much better because it made more sense for the rest of the movie

With better special effects and allowing the original ending to be put in it would have really show what it was.
