I believe ( as mentioned) this frustration in the media is because D'antoni was chosen over Phil Jackson , but chris insists that Brian Shaw was a better option.


He kept saying How the heck did he get that job.. Worth seeing.


I don't believe Buss was trolling Phil , because when you knock Phil's door and hire someone else, you become under extreme pressure and being criticized from everybody until you get the ring this year.

Really good interview btw just finished watching it. Hits some of the doubts on every laker fans minds.

Well yeah , he didn't dig deep but made some good points ..


Still , These are speculations based on Mike's coaching history , but remember he never had talent like this before as far as i am concerned.


He should/must make some adjustments where not only Howard or Nash benefit from it but also kobe and the bench .. Kobe will not be a spot up shooter and he will get involved ..

It seems like Webber has more of a problem with how things ended in New York then D'Antoni's coaching ability. Unlike Webber I don't believe D'Antoni quitting his job as the Knicks head coach will effect this team in anyway. Now that Mike Brown is gone, they understand that this is it as far as what direction this team is going moving forward. They will have to put their full trust into this system and hope it works.

Shaw already said he didnt leave on good terms with Lakers & lil buss thats why he didnt get a chance
