Besides Gary Vitti who has a lifetime contract with the lakers and to me the best trainer in NBA history, who do you think will be part of Mike D Antoni coaching staff? I know Eddie Jordan is gone for sure. That was a mistake by Mike Brown hiring him. I think they should keep Chuck Person. He did a great job with Dwight on free throws and such. Bernie is a great person but unfortnately he knows he wont be having a job by Friday. Hopefully we can get Nate Mcmillen.
Which current assistant coaches will still have a job by Friday under D'Antoni?

Pearson, Clifford, and Ham will stay IMO. Not sure about Bernie though

Clifford should stay because he knows Dwight better than anyone else on this staff defensively. He knows how he likes to operate and where he likes to be. Person helps mostly on the defensive end, suggesting adjustments and schemes. Darvin Ham is the development coach. Bernie is a fan favorite. Eddie Jordan is gone. No point of having him here. D'antoni is going to bring in a defensive coordinator and his son will be joining the staff as well as an assistant.

I like Bernie a lot, he has a great attitude and seems like he can handle the personalities pretty well. Seems like a well-respected guy. I don't know if he will stay though. Darin Ham might stay, seems like Dwight likes him and that's a priority. I highly doubt Eddie will be there, I don't know why he's still there anyway. He should have been fired before Brown probably, the Princeton was his offense haha.

Bernie Bickerstaff: Got the team playing well, gave the bench a good amount of minutes to produce.
Steve Clifford: Knows Dwight, so that's good.
Chuck Persons and Darvin Ham: Good with the players getting them better.

If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.

I agree. I think Bernie will find another assistant job somewhere he can have more influence. Seems to be a pretty good guy. Hopefully, Nate picks up the phone and joins the staff.
