Here's a couple trades I put together that work financially, and would help the Lakers out with D'Antoni's new system.
LAL Receives:
PF Andrea Bargani
SF Linas Kleiza
G Terrance Ross
TOR Receives:
F/C Pau Gasol
C Robert Sacre
G Darius Johnson-Odom

If you're trading Gasol for D'antoni's system this is what you do
http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=8cbjnhr
DONE!!
If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.
You should reach more often

If we trade pau it should be for an upgrade at the 3 or bench pieces.

^I think that trade would be horrible, can't stress that enough.
If we trade pau it should be for an upgrade at the 3 or bench pieces.
The one benefit of Calderon however is he is an expiring contract and despite him being very expensive, he's still a solid player.

Smith

New roster

I think lakers would have to cut DJO. morrow and bynum are a long shot but atlanta is stacked at sg. again keep in mind meeks cant be traded yet so it could be meeks for morrow. and if will bynum is not possible maybe udrih to the lakers instead?

lakers definitely need to get atl involved with other teams. idk who would take gasol's contract but honestly he really does got to go. he's soft defensively and offensively. His jumpers arent going, maybe he is tired but he still looks sluggish out there. howard, gasol, kobe and mwp all want to post up. lakers have to find a way to get gasol going consistently and also find a way to get mwp to stop over dribbling. if gasol wont get traded then mwp as to. lakers need to get faster with a starting sf and a bench scorer someone like morrow.

I visit the Hawks' boards from time to time, so I know how people there really want to get rid of Josh Smith
He's dumb, can't be relied at the FT line, He can't create for himself and his teammates, and he's a terrible jump shooter who always insist on taking jumpers. Oh, and he doesn't deserve a max contract
No way Atlanta will want Pau via direct trade, but a 3-team deal would work

http://blogs.ajc.com...-include-hawks/Hate Smith and his game, but I know he'd fit well in Pringle's system than Pau.

It's possible.
