I'd rather Duhon start if Blake is only out for a few games. Darius will be coming off the bench the rest of the season, let him get used to that role.

I hope Darius is starting

Fixed that for you :cool2:

There's been a couple tweets from reporters suggesting Duhon will get the start. We'll see though.

Finally got to see my first game of this season last night.

Honestly, from the tiny bit of time I saw Duhon on the court with the starters, it sure seemed as if the entire team ran much more fluid with him at the backup 1 than with Morris (who as abysmnal on defense) or Blake (who just seemed lost in all facets).

I hope Morris continues to come off the bench.

If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.

You should reach more often ;)

I agree Duhon was hung before he even got to play a game in purple & gold. Whenever he is on the court he is pretty good.

He said could. I think he was speaking out of opinion.

I think Bernie would be better served to start Duhon and pull him if he does bad early for Morris, which is what he did with Blake against the Warrs.

More turmoil for the Lakers: Steve Blake is out Tuesday vs. SAS with an abdominal strain. Darius Morris could get his first career start.

says could, not is but this means more minutes for morris to see what hes got

Portland Blazers bench has scored a grand total of 10 points in the last two games, I think they'd love having Blake back for a future 2nd round pick

Mike Trudell@LakersReporter

Bernie Bickerstaff didn't want to say whether Darius Morris or Chris Duhon would start in Nash (leg) & Blake's (strained abdomen) absence.

What if DJO starts and neither Duhon or Morris play, then Kobe continues at 1 when DJO is tired? I will cry.
