Bernie should have a record of 4-0 as the Lakers head coach.

The veteran coach's .750 winning percentage with the Lakers ''will get me a Popsicle,'' Bickerstaff said.
''I (think) it would be a footnote, and it would be something that's in history that maybe my grandkids can talk about,'' added Bickerstaff, who hasn't said whether D'Antoni will keep him around. ''It's all fun, and that's what life is about. Don't take yourself too seriously, and enjoy the ride.''

PLEASE KEEP BERNIE, D'ANTONI!!! :bounce:

:clap2: :clap2: :clap2: THANK YOU BERNIE!!!!! :clap2: :clap2: :clap2:

Sad to see the Bickerstaff era end so soon .. He deserves at least an assistant coach position. I hope D'iantoni keeps him.

Bernie did a great job. He just let the Lakers play loose. It was basically like pickup basketball. I hope he remains a part of the coaching staff.

From coaching the worst franchise in the NBA in the Charlotte Bobcats to leading the most prestigious franchise in the history of the NBA in our Lakers. Good job Bernie.
