To be honest, I'm gonna miss having Bernie at the helm. It was a strange moment in Lakers history not having a coach named after a food (Colonel Sanders, Potato Head, Pringles).

Gotta say, if this team can play defense like they played tonight, D'Antoni may prove me wrong. Hope he does.

Great job his 1st game. We would have killed if dwight just made half of his FTs. Nothing he can do about that.

I'm not going to get my hopes up after one game, but hopefully our defense can be as good as it was tonight. The one thing I want to see is better help defense on the bigs. If Pau or Dwight gets beat by their guy towards the basket, I want to see the other step up and contest. It will get there.

our 2nd half defense has been consistently good for the last 6/7 games.

If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.

You should reach more often ;)

Hopefully it continues to improve.

D was good, but it also helped that D Will was cold AF in the 2nd half

I hope he knows he can't play our starters 40 minutes a game right?

What can MD do about pau. The guy is literally useless on defense.

Not too bad. However, he made a couple of bad calls tonight. For example, during the first quarter, when were playing absolutely horrible, he didn't call time out.
