So does anyone know if MD will be at the game??
He'll be at the arena but most likely watching from the back.

Don't see anything wrong with what SAS said. Mike has NEVER been known for defense but we hired him anyway.
Stephen A Smith used to talk about how underrated of a defensive team Phoenix was with Shawn Marion and Raja Bell the "kobe stopper" >_>
But now he's here saying how D'antoni doesn't carea bout offense.
He flip flops more than Magic
If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.
You should reach more often

RT @KevinDing: Mike D'Antoni decided an hour ago his knee wasn't ready yet. Not coaching Lakers tonight vs. Rockets.

Btw, I want D'Antoni to be healthy coaching. All we need is him injuring himself jumping out of his seat

So instead of waiting a day to hear what Phil wanted to do, the Lakers quickly hired a coach who has yet to walk the sidelines. Good decision.
He still implements his tactics and system in practice and is present for what the team wants to do, they are fine with Bernie who knows what D'antoni likes to run, so stop being butt hurt
Be a Lakers fan first. Not a "I'm a Lakers fan as long as they have the personnel and players I WANT WAAAAAH!!!" fan.

I'm not "butt hurt" by any means. I simply don't agree with the decision. I think it's foolish to not wait a day to hear what Phil has to say, you know the guy with 11 rings. Had they not hired him, I'd be okay with that. I just don't believe D'Antoni is the right coach to lead this team to a championship. If he proves me wrong, I'll gladly eat crow.He still implements his tactics and system in practice and is present for what the team wants to do, they are fine with Bernie who knows what D'antoni likes to run, so stop being butt hurt

They didnt want phil. They wanted MD. They just did a courteous asking of the job for him because they want to have as many options open as possible. Even if they knew he wanted the job Mitch said it was all MD no mater what when they decided on him.I'm not "butt hurt" by any means. I simply don't agree with the decision. You strike me as the type of fan who would argue that Fisher would still be an asset to our current roster.

So what he is slow, weak, cant shoot, cant handle the ball, cant play defense, does stupid things, cant pass, and can only stand in the corner he has leadership skills. You strike me as the type of fan who would argue that Fisher would still be an asset to our current roster.
