I very much think that Phil's previous mention of wanting to bring a mentor in could very well be directed at Derek Fisher.
Also, Pau is not getting dealt. Come to terms with it already.

I'm definitely hoping no more than $10 million as I'm sure Buss is as well (lol), but wouldn't surprise me if they have to pony up more seeing as how we're the desperate ones here and Phil should probably have a ton of leverage (unless Phil is just kind enough to not go all out).

I believe Chuck Person was with Phil in the season when we got swept by the Mavs.

Jordan wasn't the problem. Kobe and Dwight are shooting a high % from the field because he puts the best players in best position to succeed, it was Brown who was interfering and nosing in that just screwed everything up. Im fine with Jordan

At first I wasn't too up on the idea of PJ coming back because of the way the team was playing at the end of his run. But then I remembered how much of how the Lakers success with that team swung on Bynum's effort, which was so inconsistent. With Howard wanting Phil and his effort and skills (especially with Phil wanting and getting defense out of him) this could really be a good fit.
