Ebanks doesn't get a special pass because he is in the NBA, or a Laker. I will beat someone if they are driving drunk near me. It is not the fact that they are putting them-self in danger... it is the fact that they put a lot of innocent people in danger without their permission, and it would not be fair if he crashed into someone and took a life. If he takes his own life driving drunk, that's on him.... but the cops were in the right here, protecting the safety of the public.

So let me guess you have never gotten behind the wheel after a drink? We dont know if he was drunk or just intoxicated. Funny how easy it is for you to judge my comments not even taking into consideration you probably drink & drive regularly if you go out during the week & or weekends.

You dont know if it was legit or profiling I didnt say anything about giving him a pass cause he a LAker. I said F :censored: the cops period

F the cops?

Dude you are way off base on this one. Like I said, he shouldn't even be under suspicion. With all the data out there on this and all the options available to everyone, let alone those with money and several people around them, this should NOT happen.

Gque, you are dead wrong this time. Ebanks shouldn't even be close to this kind of situation.

Drinking and driving is about as serious as it gets, however our society in some way's condones the consumption of alcohol while driving, after all there are parking lots at bars.
In most cases two drinks will put you at or over the legal limit. I wonder what % of people leaving legal drinking establishments have consumed a 3rd drink.
Ebanks is a young guy that gets a decent check every couple weeks and like many young that are of drinking age they like to party and some get caught, however so many more do not.

Its a huge problem that will continue to be a huge problem until society gets really serious.

I feel so fortunate that in my younger days I did not have an incident involving drinking and driving!

Funny thing is when I saw this thread a second time I saw "Amestied" instead of arrested X_X It could be a sign...

Strange stuff always happens to me in premonition ways.

When I'd watch the Lakers channel whenever the Mike Brown commercial would come up where he'd say

"Hey I'm Coach mike Brown of the Los Angeles Lakers join me and my etc" on time warner sportsnet

The last few days the "coach" part kept lagging out so I never heard it for a 3 day span.

And now he's gone X_X

So seeing Ebanks "Amnestied" instead of arrested, could mean he'll be traded soon =p

Nah he gets way more than that. Wasn't his qualifying offer like $1 million? That'd be around 600k no? Either way, 200k is still a lot of money.

Doubt it, when his offense is off his defense is on and when his offense and defense are clicking he's a valuable asset. Even last night when he was 0-10 he was stealing the ball contesting shots and making it hard for the defense and then his offense came on late.

Ebanks hasn't done any as of yet defensively or offensively and MWP is the more reliable person in terms of effort as well.

I can see Duhon and Ebanks being traded by the trade deadline but if we send Sacre and DJO down to the D-league we will have 2 roster spots anyway so thats a benefit.

But i can see him getting traded. Lakers dont want any of that drama here. Billi mac said he was not dressed did not say why. So im guessing they are keeping it quiet on air

pretty much, that plus Bernie wasn't gonna play him(he doesn't have a tolerance for young players that do those kind of things) so Bernie wasn't going to play him either way. And Meeks shined. So Ebanks not playing helped us. If he is found innocent I'll resend my disappointment, but as it stands it's on the fence with Ebanks. Glad to see Bernie NOT play him.

he had 2 steals last night and made life a living heck for Harrison barnes
