Bernie Bickerstaff said he's talked to Mike Brown since his firing. But Bickerstaff added, "that's a private conversation."

God. don't let it be dunleavey.
if it's not D'antoni or Phil we should stick with Bernie. He'd pretty much do what MB was trying to do but simplify it a little more and coach them with a little more trust and it seems to work so far. We aren't shooting the 50% we were before but we're winning because our players respond better to his style of coaching them.
Also a fan of his rotations but that goes without saying.
So if we can't get Phil or D'antoni(don't see that happening) then sticking with Bernie is fine for us.
If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.

no. never. i like bernie so far, but i don't think he'll be able to handle this team for a season. i don't trust him. besides, we just abandonded the rinceton offense. we're not gonna have any system or anything of that sortif it's not D'antoni or Phil we should stick with Bernie. Brown micromanaged and that cause problems. Kobe's quote shows that. It's not that he didn't work hard, or understand the game. He tried to force the team to do something, didn't know how to ease them in.
Spoelstra micromanaged the heat early, but after a whole realize he had Lebron, wade, and bosh and let them play

Lol and there Kobe goes, eliminating any idea that he wanted brown to stay. Brown micromanaged. Simple as that. Kobe respected him but look at how little joy the players had when brown was here

it took him 17 games to do it though. And I think Mike brought Bickerstaff in to try to help him work on NOT micromanaging as the season wore on. We see how perfectly Bernie does that. But Brown didn't have that long unfortunately. I'm happy with Bernie right now and we're getting D'antoni apparently.

Heh, just goes to show how inept Brown really was. I'm sure people will take this quote out of context though.
