This isn't a "hate" thread, there's a lot of those already out there so if your opinion is only "hate" and offers nothing to the topic, keep it moving.

Now, our next 6 games are at home(with the possibility of Nash coming in after the 3rd)

The games are as follow

GSW, SAC, SAS, PHX, HOU, BKN.

If we win all 6 we'll be at 7-4 but I would like to know your opinions of our record at the end of this stretch.

In my opinion GSW will be tough but we should win, we'll beat Sacramento, San Antonio will be close but we aren't quite in sync enough yet for me to say we'll beat them confidently. We should beat Phoenix. Houston will be close and Harden will burn us quite a few times but I see us winning that one and Dwight Howard will have a field day with Brooke Lopez(who is better than him according to Shaq) :)

So I think our record at the end of these 6 games will be 5-1 at best, 3-2 at worst.

What do you guys think? What will our record be after these 6 straight home games? Which Laker player needs to step up the most for us to be successful?

Nash could be back just in time for the Phoenix game btw.

If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.

 Normally I'd be super-optimistic when things like this come up... but...

Warriors - LOSS (Landry gonna score 40 on us)
Kings - 50-50
Spurs - LOSS (Blowout)
Suns - LOSS (Dragic.. OMG)
Rockets - LOSS (Harden gonna go alLIN)
Nets - LOSS (Brook Lopez might just have double double)

I see the GSW game setting up either a run or a losing streak. We can easily drop the ball against Sacramento. GSW are looking pretty good in these last 3 games. So its a toss up, in all 6 games really.

Yeah the first game I feel is most important

Against these teams we also have size advantages at the 4 and 5 so big nights from Howard AND Gasol are vital.

SAC and the GSW are my sleeper teams in the west, they can score inside our outside. the Suns are a borderline sleeper team, they can also play inside/out , Dragic will give us problems but hopefully nobody else will. The Rockets ,like the Suns only have 1 player guaranteed to have a good night against us.. Popavich will beat us on coaching alone. And the Nets have inside/out scoring, and alot of it ,they scare me.

with the way we're playing now(with unhealthy dwight) ill give us 2 wins out of those 6 at home - PHX,HOU , and possibly a win vs GS or SAC , those games could easily get out of hand, or could be close.

if we dont win 3 games in this home stretch, mike brown will be fired, guaranteed .much less likely- pau traded

we gonna go 3 and 3. Pick any 3 lost and any 3 wins. Dont expect the Lakers to beat team they "should" beat.

Size advantage? Is there such a thing anymore? The past 5 games tell me which team has a better size advantage than us? We got the size but in terms of advantage, we are not using it.

The way I look at it, the teams who have an elite/superstar PG will beat us, especially with a Blake/Morris duo defending them.
Warriors - Loss
Kings - Win (close game)
Spurs - Loss
Suns - Loss (No great PG but Beasley and Brown have been rolling)
Rockets - Loss
Brooklyn - Loss

The Lakers aren't playing with much passion or energy, these teams do game in and game out, that's a huge factor to consider.

Dwight puts up 22pts 12rbs 4blks during streak

Nash rips off suite during 1st quarter of Spurs game revealing uniform underneath. Steps past Mike Brown like Chappelle in the club with a hand to the face, drops 14pts 12asts

I like it. It means there is no production off the bench at all if those players have those kind of numbers in every game. You forgot to add Mike Brown negotiate an extension on his contract for the next 5 years worth 35 million dollars and become one of the top paying coaches in the league.
