Behind the Clips, Knicks, and Nets now.

Los Angeles Lakers (1-3, previous ranking: third): Lakers are a work in progress and losing Steve Nash to a leg injury didn’t help.

They should be ranked dead last the way they're playing...

Who cares?

We'll be higher than all those teams by mid season so what does it matter? Power rankings from 5 games in means we may as well crown the Knicks the NBA Champions right now.

This is very generous for today. They have been one of the worst teams in the league.

Different teams would be ahead of them, but I think the Lakers could potentially end the season looked at as the 7th best team.

I could see Miami, LAC, San Antonio, OKC, Boston, and Denver being better.

OKC is off to their worst start since they were the seattle supersonics, Boston has been losing left and right, Denver is 1-4 just like us =p the Clippers lost to Cleveland but beat the Spurs. Only teams up there really performing well are Miami and San Antonio and the Clippers.

If we're judging by the first 5 games.

Well, Yahoo is high on Lakers. Spears still predicts we'll turn it around and win it all which is laughable with the situation we are in right now.

We are more like low-20s.

I think their problems aren't as big as the Lakers' problems. I've said all along that these problems date back to last season.

Lakers should be 29th ahead of just Detroit

A couple quick wins would be nice

Golden state could be dangerous
And Sacramento as well

Then we play good teams
