But, it just seems like this team has to work a lot harder than other teams with more athletic players to defend.

A win is a win. At this point, we shouldn't look for style points.
But, it just seems like this team has to work a lot harder than other teams with more athletic players to defend.
Well, like Stu said, no one can play the "perfect game".

Kobe nearly had a Triple Double.
If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.
You should reach more often

because the bench had no rhythm and wasn't playing defense, had the starters not come back in Detroit would have went on a worse run and I'd rather the lead not get to 10 before the starters come back in. Better safe than sorry.
And fyi Brown sat them in the final 5. But the bench allowed Detroit to get a bit of a rhythm and a run going prior to that which is why Kobe and Dwight came back in.
bench screwed it up.

in a game like this , i don't think it will harm anybody if played more than they should be..
Even with MWP numbers he got to leave the game come to him if it did .. but don't force things while you have 4 other players on the floor that are more consistent ..
but at least he didn't act like he is MJ tonight, in contrast what he tried to do against both Portland and LAC ...
Did they even played the princeton offense ? or did it look easier because it was the pistons ?

Majesty, you seem like a level headed guy, but I think you're walking a fine line by defending MB on everything here. At what point is it ok to criticize Mike Brown? Can we not also say that he didn't prepare the bench enough to hold that lead(a lead they did not even let get out of hand to begin with imo)? He is the HEAD COACH of a professional basketball team, the Lakers, whatever troubles arise in the future cannot all be dismissed from MB's fault. I don't want to take away from the win tonight, but I felt I had to share my opinion on the matter.because the bench had no rhythm and wasn't playing defense, had the starters not come back in Detroit would have went on a worse run and I'd rather the lead not get to 10 before the starters come back in. Better safe than sorry.

A win is a win, beating a better team doesn't count for any more than beating a bad team.
Like I said, it's gonna take 20 games for them to find their way.
