Yeah, he said he wanted more touches in the post, yet I only saw him make like 2 post moves the entire game when he got the ball down there...

Decent comeback after the atrocious last 2 games, but more needs to be seen before he's off the hot seat...

judging from the 2 back to back title runs with the lake show and the olympics ,pau seems to thrive when hes the number 1 option down low, and that aint happening on this current roster nor has it been that way the past 2 seasons,hes like a fish out of water shooting jumpers, damn what do they do with pau? bench maybe i dont effen know, lets just hope that if he does get shipped out he dont end up in miami because that would be absolute murder for any team facing them IMO

Twin towers is the real problem. It's hard to run an offense with so many bodies clogging up the paint. We could make Pau the second unit center. He's a pro, he'd do it for the team. Or we could just get Pau some more touches in the low block. He not only got points for himself, but he set up Dwight and Jamison as well with some beautiful interior passing.

Finesse vs Brute Force...I choose finesse, its kind of like choosing Kobe over LeBron.

BTW, there are reports that Pau is playing with tendinitis in both knees.

Averaging 40 minutes over the first month will do that. The Lakers need to consider shutting him down for a while. The current place is just not sustainable.

If he's got tendonitis in both knees, the only reason he's not resting is to get his trade value up. He should be on the pine for no less than a week before they re-evalute him. It's only going to get worse if he continues playing with it.

I'm waiting and watching...not commenting on the Pau situation at all until Nash gets back. If things aren't better then, that's when I have no doubt what will happen.

Heres what myself aka ShouldBeChaz has come up with.. tell my what ya think.. DISCLAIMER : i dont want to trade Pau for a PF. why, because then Hill wont get minutes,,,, and also because i think Jamison can be Nash's new and different version of Channing Frye.

TRADE : LAL - IND - 3rd team
LAL get - granger , augistine, hansbourough : granger/augistine/hansbourough could make for one hell of a 2nd unit. we can also play granger more than mwp,,,play granger with both units. imo, hansbourough can be almost what Jordan Hill is to us, if he gets the minutes ,,plus is J is better.

IND gets - Pau, HIll, backup pg from 3rd team : David west is gunna be a FA next year, they can upgrade at PF and also get a serviceable bakcup Pg. they also have the wing depth in gerald green/paul george to let granger go. and to sweeten the deal for them Hill for Hansbourough who they dont like much.

3rd team gets - David West, Steve Blake : trade a back up pg to aquire a better player(West)

TRADE: LAL - SACREMENTO

LAL get - Isaiah Thomas , Marcus Thorton , Garcia : Thomas avg 15 ppg as a starter last year(much smaller role this year) , Thorton avg 19 ppg last year(Kings top wing scorer) . a bench of Thomas, Thorton , Hill would be amazing.

Kings get - Pau : Pau and Cousins both can play high low(not a bynum or dwight/pau situation) . the kings have the depth on the wings to do this trade.(bigger role for Evans, Salmons, johnson, Jimmer)

Trade : LAL , Philly , 3rd Team

LAL get - Thad Young , Nick Young : Thad Young can play the 3 or the 4. I dont like having 4 bigs who need to play, this is why Hill isnt getting minutes, so , Thad can be the 4th "big" if need be , but he can also be a SF for us which is a position of need. a bench of nick young, Thad young, Hill is awesome.

Philly gets - Pau , wing player from 3rd team : Bynum may never play for Philly. Philly will lose some scoring by trading Nick and Thad , but they will get some back from the 3rd team .

3rd team gets - Hawes : Hawes can go to a team who has wing depth but wants to have more size. i really like Hawes game, no joke, i think he has all around game for a big. maybe the Kings can be this third team , or Indiana , could be a 4 team deal.

Trade: LAL , BULLS , 3rd team

LAL get - Deng, hinrich , Hamilton , Gibson : Gibson is an upgrade from Hill(mid range J) , a 2nd unit of Hinrich (LOVE his Game now) ,Deng, Hamilton, and gibson is awesome.

Bulls get - Pau , Mwp , HIll , and wing player from 3rd team : this trade gives the Bulls an inside scoring threat, and because of it ,it makes them the best team in the east(alot more size than MIA), imo , this is why we can ask for so much in return. Bellenelli and a wing player from the 3rd team wont be too bad of a drop off from deng and hamilton(its acceptable). They have Nate Rob as a backup pg, or they can take a pg from the 3rd team instead of a wing, or they can take blake..... ..

3rd team gets - Boozer : a 3rd team who has wing depth and could use a PF..


these are just trades im hopefull for ,but all in all , i think Mitch can find a trade for Pau, guys.

Your disclaimer about trading for an SF. Right now MWP is playing well. IF your going to give up Pau you get a stretch 4. Your so concerned about giving Hill minutes at the 4 when he is not even starter worthy. He is a hustle bench player and that is his role. We still need a stretch 4 that can give us points(10-15 a game) and good defence.

mmk, where we disagree is - i have faith in jamison as that stretch 4(100% dwight will pick up his slack on boards), and i dont have faith in mwp

and there are no stretch 4s(who can shoot 3s) who play good D.......

None of the other teams would do any of those trades. The Lakers wouldn't do the Kings or the Sixers trade as well.
