Points scored per 100 posessions/ Points given up per 100 possessions of each pairing of bigs
Pau/Dwight - 106.9/95.8
Pau/Hill - 110.5/87.0
Dwight/Hill - 89.7/115.3
Pau has been the best big able to make it work with both of them which is good to see

Just to keep in mind, we're still winning and Pau is still very effective working with Hill and Dwight

Just had a flash back from high school...
LOL...good old days...
Lucky for Pau, Hill has those same memories
If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.
You should reach more often

so Pau > Hill > Howard ???

Uhhh noo. Point is Pau is not hurting the team right now. We're winning big and hes been in the middle of it.

The biggest thing I take from those statistics is that Howard is clearly not himself on the defensive side of the football.Uhhh noo. Point is Pau is not hurting the team right now. We're winning big and hes been in the middle of it.

Pau = [expletive]. No statistics can measure up to eye test.
A real analyst, you should work on tv.

That's pretty much it. We know what he used to be so its frustrating that he reduces himself to an unagressive jump shooter that still doesn't(can't) play consistent defense. On top of that he gets paid north of 19 mil. If you ignore his contract and how he used to play, you might say he's a very solid(good) player. But of course, it can't be examined that way.

For some reason this got heaped on him, and it's stuck. No player plays great every game (sans Kobe, who's dang close to it).
Sure, he didn't play the best game of his career last night, but he has held the same stat line despite what your perception of his play is. If he was all that terrible he would've been shipped out after the Chris Paul trade failed. The point is you will not get equal or greater value return on Pau right now. Thankfully the Laker GM's don't act as irrational as some fans do. This team would fall apart instantly.
Wait uintil a coach comes here with a solid game plan that can implement everyone and get everyone set. If Pau fails after that, then sure, have at it. But to throw all of the blame on Pau and NEVER look for what he brings to the team (which is more than most think, ask a guy named Kobe) is simply trash talk.
Pau's stats. His points and rebound have fallen slightly this year, with Howard on board. Of course his points will drop when there are more scoring options on the team, he's not a slashing assertive scorer like a Kobe or others. That's just who he is, if you don't know that by now, you're not paying attention to the player he is / was and always has been. Otherwise, despite what you think, he's maintained the same level of play throughout his tenure here.

Gasol you know is dead. It's time that you admit it instead of brining excuses for him, talented 7 footer blah blah blah. Dude is washed up. Just like T-Mac is.

He's failed when it matters most more than once and there's absolutely ZERO reason to believe he'll turn it around. A different coach, scheme, etc can't make Pau tough.

Thats kind of sad to me if I am really his only supporter here on this Forum! Wow...
But on the other side, its kind of thinkable because Im european so I give him a bit credit for that he is Spanish and I often went to Spain in the holidays...
Still does not matter the fac to me that he is still a good passer and why not letting him make his 10-15 points per game. I think in our lakers game today we dont really need him to contribute THAT MUCH as he did 3 or 4 years ago... he now has an other role in this offense ...but thats of course my opinion and I know im gonnga get a lot of hate because most of you dont like Pau anymore or dont accept his game anymore...
