It's kind of sad that Pau is not willing to do what is good for the well-being of this team.

Kobe has sacrificed taking shots.
Dwight has sacrificed touches.
Nash is willing to play off the ball instead of having the ball in his hands.
D'Antoni basically quit his system because he knew it was not working.

Everyone has made sacrifices. The important thing is that we are winning. I wouldn't t be surprised if comes up with some "injury" before the deadline.

-Dwight is not 100% and sometimes looks like Fort Fumble with the ball, so reduced touches are in order, at least short term
-Nash can still shoot but is not the devastating PG he used to be, so to keep playing effectively he needs to be where he is now
-MDA was gonna ger fired if he ddint make those changes
-So the only one I see making meaning sacrifices is Kobe

When Gasol was told about all that similarly he said back "I've been sacrificing all year.".

Dwight demanded and was unhappy with his touches from the beginning. After the team meeting, he came out and publicly apologized. He understood that his remarks serve as a distraction. He regrets making those comments.

"That's over with," Howard said. "I can't think about it. That was immature. I shouldn't have done it, but today is a new day and today is a new game."

One more thing I want to mention. When Howard was asked with his future regarding the team, his response was money.

"We're not discussing that," Howard said. "Right now our goal is to win, and all I want to do is win. I have to put all my energy into winning and sacrifice whatever I have to do, humble myself and go out there and play."

Now I want you to compare that with Pau's response. Huge difference.

We're in kind of a cross roads

- We have to pay Dwight and Clark...which means we cant afford Pau
- And Pau knows this so maybe hes gone into "Andrew Bynum YOLO mode" since it really doesnt matter hes gone either way in 2013
- But if Dwight is gone then we need Pau has insurance
- But if Dwight makes his decision in like late July, we have to pay a roster of Clark, Kobe, Nash, Pau and Dwight and HUGE penalties for carrying that roster
- Amensty period is mid July, so right in the beginning of free agent period is possibly we can dump Pau for nothing...and he only goes to teams that have capspace like Milwaukee or Charlotte or Phoenix
- Whatever deal there is for Pau during February 21, 2013 trade deadline and at the NBA draft wont be as good as the deal coming in for Pau during the 2013 seasons

We're pretty much screwed. We have to win now and we need Pau to buy in. Or we need to make a trade for him now and get players (a Center) who can help us win now and provide cap flexibility moving forward

That CP3 veto really freakin screwed us over long term, we dropped salary in that trade AND added a Franchise player, we could've had so much flexibility. This year theres barely no margin for error and everybody is injured or have ego issues like Dwight or Pau.

Don't even get me started. I hope Kyrie leaves that terrible franchise in Ohio and I hope we resign Dwight so Cuban can official lose in the Deron/Dwight sweepstakes.

I think what's most likely to happen is that the Lakers will use Pau's 19 million expiring as a tool to get some value while trying to shed salary at the same time.

Howard's probably going to stay, imo. The Lakers should just offer him a max right off the bat and get the drama out of the way. If Howard's smart he'll take it and shuttup.

He did well offensively. Terrible on the defensive/rebounding end. He left the game in the 4th quarter do to injury (angle I think).
