Kobe told Gasol to wake up during the game, lol.

I'll be amazed if Gasol is in a Lakers jersey after the trade deadline.


I was thinking the other day that he'll probably stay at least until the off-season, but if he continues to whine the Lakers may very well just ship him out if they get a decent offer.

But still with the injury to Hill, they are very thin in the front court if they get rid of Gasol, unless its for a Josh Smith.

If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.

Dwight is hurt yet again then this will be a hard game to win with Gasol inside Phoenix is gonna tear us apart there rather than at 3

How early did this happen? And we won't win many games without Dwight even against Phoenix.

Dwight hurting that shoulder every other game is troublesome. We can't win without him and our offense becomes stagnant and our defense on the interior is torn to shreds with Gasol there.

One entire quarter without dwight? Unless we were winning by 20 we're losing this game then.

Like I said, this team is so far from being good that the Lakers need to just be planning primarily on the future right now.

This team is pathetic. Without Dwight's defense, the Lakers can't stop anybody. I thought Metta was supposed to be a stopper?

No dwight means the ball stops moving and Pau is no threat which means more shots for metta which won't work. Pau won't score a point in the 4th and metta will take 5 threes and miss and we'll lose by 2
