The Lakers have to fix things, and Pau is really the only way to do so. The Lakers aren't going to get anything in return by trading Metta World Peace or Steve Blake.

6 points WAS weak, and so was the D. However, Gasol can still be helpful to this team. He, alongside the others, just need to figure it out. I think it is too early to be trading any star power, but I do agree that we should take a hard long look if things do not improve.
i agree with ur last statement. id trade Pau to bolster the 2nd unit , i think our starting unit is great enough to have Jamison at the 4, he'd play well with Nash... with Jamison and Hill, why do we need a PF in return?
id do these trades.
TOR: Calderon , Derozan - TOR can play Ross/Fields more. play demar with both units..
IND: George Hill , Gerald Green - 3 team trade so they can move D.west. play Green with both units
these trades would give us two STRONG, lethal units. you can make the argument that our starting unit offense would be better with Jamison over Pau,too.- because Jamison can = Frye , who Nash made a big weapon. Nash needs 3 point shooters man.
"The West aint close, now that the LAL got Dwight, who gon stop him on OKC!????" - Chris Webber (nba tv -August)
Big 4s are OVERRATED. you think Nash/Kobe/Dwight cant carry the whole Offensive load!?
(Peace Pau we need pieces, not MettaWorldPieces!!!!!!!!)

Package Pau GASOFT, w/ other players for some nice role players that can stretch the floor. /end. Pau clogs up the paint and that's why Howard can't move as freely as he did in ORL.
Yeah right, now he is clogging the paint. Where do you guys come out from? Under the rug?

im not trying to blame anything on him. i just think he doesn't fit well right now from what i have saw. he just seem extremely slow on defense nowadays. im willing to give him the chance to prove me wrong because like i said, im a fan of gasols.
TOO Funny
Gasol fits better in this system than anyone else
LAKERS NO FAKERS

Gasol slows the game down A LOT. He idiotically passes to Artest / Blake when he shouldn't. Kobe is on the wing, Dwight is on the post, yet he's all for rotating the ball unnecessarily. What is he good for? He's not posting up. He's not knocking down jumpers constantly. He's not defending for [expletive]. What is he good for? Rebounds? We have Dwight Howard. We don't need another player to clog the lane. Passing? We have Nash as a PG. PF playmaking is utterly unnecessary.
He's the odd man out in this team. Princeton or not.
He is doing what Brown wants, didnt you stop and think?

Not really, I don't think Mike Brown wants him to shoot 3s from the baseline. I don't think Mike Brown wants him to pretend defending. Gasol has regressed. People need to accept this. Even you Spaniard. He is doing what Brown wants, didnt you stop and think?
