On the Lakers radar are Atlanta and the T'wolves who have picked up desperation in pieces willing to move to net Gasol in the wake of Love's injury.

Toronto has been in talks, but the Lakers have constantly rejected their offer.







So its either gonna be Smith and a shooter apparently. From what I just read.
Or Williams or Cunningham with Barea and some other pieces. Possible 3 team trade there$

But at least the Lakers have NO interest in Bargnani. Thank goodness!!

Lakers won't take bargs and his contract. What's monta Ellis up to. Would take him over pau. Itll be interesting having people who show up every night other than Kobe for a change.

Only thing bargs got on pau is is contract is not as ba but he is worst than him as a player. Though dollar for dollar he is by far worst.

Pau's value may be at an all-time low and the new CBA does make things difficult. But it can also work to our advantage.
For instance, next season teams need to spend minimum 90% of the cap - which is around 50-55 million.
Cavs are at 29 million next season, which means that they easily could take on Pau's salary. Let's say we approach the trade deadline while being (more) way out of the playoffs, why not try to do a Walton-Varejao for Pau deal. Varejao would be a nice piece to begin next season with and Walton is an expiring. Note: If we were to trade for Kevin Love, who would ever get a rebound against a Hill-Love-Varejao frontline?
Another area where the CBA works is in the small markets: Memphis cannot afford to have 4 guys taking up 90 % of the cap. This means that they could be interested in dealing one of their "big four".
