maybe not. that lillard, aldridge, batum core looks nice. but man batum would make us pretty tough

yeah trading with portland is a pipe dream, too bad we couldn't have gotten dwight for someone else, portland has always been suckers for talented injury prone centers (like bynum) :)

Teams will trade with anybody if it will make their team better. The Nuggets traded for Iggy despite the fact that it helped make the Lakers better.



I know they aren't the sexiest of names, but you don't typically get an equal player when trading older for younger. Kawhi has some upside and gives the Lakers needed youth. Captain Jack gives them needed depth.


Kawhi is only talent in trade. Captain Jack is finsihed as being a solid reliable contributor. Bonner can hit open 3s that would be useful but he is a liability everywhere else. Not in Lakers favor to make this deal.

He's just not getting it done right now. He has his good games but for being paid nearly 20mil he is too much of a [expletive] to be a contributer on a nightly basis. Wait til his value is at primetime and ship his ass out for JSmith or a package of good scorers.
