At this point, Pau would have to put in some energy and accept being the back-up for now.
Most Lakerfans, myself included, have no patience for halfhearted performances and diva-like behavior - especially from Gasol.

This guy lets lebron get about 3 lay ups in a row. his defense is still the worst. i said this in the op when i created this thread, we need to get rid of this guy for our championship aspirations. we can't afford to wait any longer. i still believe. But not with Pau.

He finished the game even though he shouldn't have and D'Antoni has already made it clear that bringing him off the bench is only for this game. It's really pathetic if he's complaining right now.

And, he shouldn't complain even if D'Antoni decides to do something different for him. His play on the court would've caused it.

I dont think pau did anything special. We have put such alow bar for the guy that just getting 10 points is a good game for the guy. Second highest salary with that as well.

Clark is the perfect PF role player for our first unit. of course Pau is the better player.
-this team needs defense - Clark protects the rim better./guards active PFs better(league trend)/guards PnR better(league trend)
-Clark goes and gets rebounds
-Clark runs the floor/cuts for Nash,so the offense wont be stagnant.
-and Antoni also likes Earl because he can stretch the floor

Pau is better suited for the 2nd unit, becuase hes a post player, and Antoni cant get two post players post touches.
Ginobli comes off the bench, Harden last year,,,basketball is about 5 guys meshing;not just the 5 best players on your team playing together and not working well together

Gasol must still think hes a All Star!!! I hope he wakes the [expletive] up and takes a good look in the mirror. He deserves to be on the bench with his performances this year. He does not dominate down low anymore and other teams score on him with ease and at will. If he truly was a team player he would accept a bench role as it benefits the teams defense the less minutes he plays. MWP accepted a bench role this year as it was best for the team. Team 1st doesn't seem to matter to Pau by his comments about coming off the bench so that leaves only one other
option. Trade his ass!!!

Not sure if this has been posted before but apparently Lakers not sure of they want to trade Gasol because they are unsure about Howards future as a Laker.
