You crazy? Ellis can play the 1 or the 2. He is one of the best at the basket finishers in the game, we only have one other player that can do that. He can shoot and drive. Think of him as the Jamal Crawford for this team.^ No Ellis doesn't fit this team. We need an athletic wing player that's atleast 6'7.

No lakers actually need someone who can actually hit open 3's, meeks cant hit open 3's, ellis can. I remember ellis dropping 48points on okc and drawing and 1's against ibaka. Lakers need someone like him.

Monta Ellis, the guy who is shooting 29% from three and is a career 32% shooter?
Ellis is good, but not at shooting.
Meeks is in a slump, he was at 40% before his recent games. People need to stop acting like he is a horrible shooter, he's not

Ellis could start or play off the bench. Meeks could still play.Meeks is doing fine.
Rather have a longer guy who can help out on D and a backup pg.

Do I want Ellis? YesAnyone that says they don't want Ellis doesn't know basketball.

We are in the bottom five in the league in bench scoring. We have one guy on our team that can get to the rim and finish on a daily basis. How would he not "solve any of our glaring problems" Ellis is EXACTLY what this team needs.Yeah, Ellis is not known for being a good 3 point shooter at all.
He would be a great scorer for the second unit, but if we're getting only Ellis we don't really solve any of our glaring problems.

Name me another guy on that list that averages 20 points 6 assists 4 rebounds and 2 steals or better, and is a realistic player that we can get for Pau. Go ahead take your time.Do I want Ellis? Yes
Are there a handful of players I'd rather have before him? Yes
He's not first on my list.

Agreed.I think he's fine. What's a bigger issue, backup pg or backup sg? Backup sf or backup sg? We have other needs. I would love to have Ellis, but there are players at other positions who would help us much more.
