I have a feeling the Lakers have gotten ok offers, but have been playing the "wait them out until they give in" approach. The problem with that is that the Lakers keep losing and Pau keeps playing poorly.

It worked out for them in the offseason when they managed to get Dwight for just Bynum. But, it has just been the wrong thing to do. Both Pau and the Lakers have been free-falling, which will get the Lakers less and might not improve the Lakers on time and/or enough.

If you can come up with a trade for Josh Smith or anyone else that is good take it. Realistically, I'd be happy with a bunch of athletic role players. Idk who will be available in 10 days but they have to be solid, young, and athletic. We lack athleticism. Athletic players play better defense. 2-3 Players that average 6-7 points is much more than what Pau is giving us right now. Also, Hill should be a starter the way he is playing right now. Pau is done especially in this system

I agree I'd be happy with role players as well depending on who they are. Pretty much anyone that will play defense and bring any amount of energy would be an upgrade.

based on nothing. our teams missing its best player, a healthy dwight. i cant judge a team without there best player. (after the 10-11 season,dwight was ranked the #2 player in the nba,by ESPNs board of analysts)

The dwight who is playing should be good enough. Even not 100% he is playing better than bynum ever did because his defense is so good. Anyway by the time he is 100% it will be almost playoff time or even the end of the season.

Hey Pau, shut the hell up about not getting in the post.

You not getting in the post has nothing to do with your terrible defense (especially transition defense).

Maybe you should just stand near the paint and never leave, that way you won't get beat in transition.

Sure, we'll be playing 4 on 5 on offense, but as long as you're the 5th player on the court then we won't be at any more of a disadvantage than we already normally are.

Get a team desperate for size, and trade him for role players that will help out. I think some might still hold onto hope that it's the team that's making him play bad if it's low risk.

I think the Lakers might be able to still find that. This league is filled with big contracts. Try to trade for equal money and equal years remaining on contracts.
