Pau Asked Whether He's Questioned Management's Decisions

Pau Gasol's asked whether it makes him questions management's decisions. Plus, what's it like to be on a championship team versus a team like this?

Say what you will about most of our guys' effort or lack-thereof last night, but Pau definitely brought it!

If you think  that Pau Gasol is going to make 4 mil next year you must be dreaming.

I wouldn't be shocked to see us overpay Pau on a one-year deal.

If we can't pull off something big, I see us rolling with Kobe, Pau, mid-tier free agent signing, 1st round pick, Farmar + bench.

Nash also returns, so we don't stretch his cap space over 3 years. We'll try to pull something together at the deadline next year, but will probably have to wait until summer.

Pau is probably looking at his last big-ish deal in his career, so there's no way he's taking less than 10 million.

Wonder if the Lakers will offer him a one year deal.

Even though Pau is starting to produce more efficiently, he shouldn't be brought back to a team that already can't play defense. He's terrible as a defensive anchor. He can't protect the paint or defend the pick and roll. He needs to play with a defensive anchor.

Yeah, if you play him next to a defensive anchor, he starts crying about his touches. Lose-lose situation.

Pau Gasol heads to the locker room.

Pau Gasol just ran into the locker room. He looked to have tweaked something in his foot/ankle, but we'll check on it.

It appears Pau Gasol is favoring his left ankle. Left the locker room

Pau is back by the way, if it matters (in the game).

Pau Gasol will receive an X-ray on his L ankle after the game as a precaution.

Out for 2 weeks left ankle sprain will be my guess.

"Bryant had come to rage against the idea that Howard's clownish disposition could overtake the locker room, the Lakers' culture, and had warned Howard that he would never, ever let it happen."

X-rays on Pau's L ankle were negative. He plans to play against OKC as long as his ankle doesn't "blow up" between now and Sunday
