Yeah, he shot 4 times, but if the ball keeps moving I doubt we will have problems.

You think Pau will keep this act up, about not caring about coming off the bench? He was playing good, and was moving the ball around, then D'antunafish benched him and started playing at the Pelipuffs pace...I don't think Pau will put up with this much longer not playing in the 4th, we shall find out tmmr in PHX.

A solution for this problem would be firing D'Antoni, after all, what is he really doing?

Trade his ass. He played ok today (not 19 mil worth but fine) though if he's not going to accept this role then trade him and get a real starter or some bench depth.

Mark Medina of the Los Angeles Daily News says that Lakers GM Mitch Kupchak will likely know by tomorrow about whether or not the NBA will approve their Disabled Player Exception for the injured Jordan Hill (Twitter link). With the roster currently at 14, an exception worth $1.78MM would be a very valuable asset for a team that would have otherwise only had a veteran's minimum deal to offer free agents at this point during the season.

This should help.

How would that exception work anyway? Can we, say, use that for a guy making 3.5M but for the rest of the season earning 1..78M ? I mean, do they re-calculate the salaries for the remainder of the season?

And why would you care? Is the team loosing because of it? Is he causing problems?

Im getting tired of Pau's constant whining. The team WON and the guy you were sitting for got the gamewinning layup. Shut it! You were having a bad game, u sat late, Metta was having a bad game too, d'antoni did the same thing, but is Metta whining? Clark and Jamison played late and they finished 2 of the 3 plays that won us the game. So why is Pau complaining so darn much!

I've always liked Steve Blake.

Yes.

When I say causing problems, I mean causing problems to the team itself. Not to fans and D'Antoni...

He IS causing problems to the team. Who is getting 'his' minutes in 4th quarter? Cookie monster? No. Earl f.cking Clark. Is he trying to say Clark is getting those minutes without earning it? Because that's how it'd spin if you look at it from Clark's and coaches' perspective. There can only be 5 best guys out there and Pau is, currently, not one of them.
