Plus Josh Smith is better matching up against Blake Griffin. Dwight Howard+Josh Smith vs DeAndre Jordan+Blake Griffin. Now that's some dunking right there.

lol now you are trying to compare his defense to Howard.....stfu

i just watch the games bro, names dont matter to me.
i said he contested as many as dwight, which he did, game before last. im not saying dwight isnt better on D. what a player cant contest alot of shots in the paint if his name isnt dwight howard or josh smith or dikembe mutumbo?

WHAT WOULD JOSH SMITH DO FOR THIS TEAM,BETTER THAN EARL? (of course Josh is the better player tho)

I get what you're saying. I agree, we have other needs. But I would still want Smith for Pau if it were possible.

For every good game Earl Clark has had in his CAREER, Josh Smith has had a good season...

Josh smiths SEASON averages are almost as high as Earl Clarks CAREER highs!

Offense is not our problem, its defense. If you can put Josh Smith and a healthy Dwight Howard next to each other on defense. They would have a lid on the rim in the paint. Josh Smith on offense? Steve Nash would take care of some of his problems.

Lol he would average more points than Clark and play the same exact defense. Clark is good at defense yeah. Josh Smith will be able to do the same thing but offers way more than what Clark can do. Nonetheless, I would take Josh Smith over Pau anyday.

It's very simple yet you don't understand. 5 game vs. Eight Seasons.

Mike D'Antoni is GARBAGE.

Lmao Josh Smith > Earl Clark not even close. Josh Smith is 20x better than him on defense (definitely on defense) and offense

If we were to somehow get Josh Smith, it would be in a multi-team trade. Atlanta is not interested in Pau. But I know who is. http://espn.go.com/n...tradeId=bb6oxzd

eh id rather trade pau for a depth we dont really need another all star as much as we need depth. Maybe we can trade gasol to ATL Josh to another team that could land us a couple defenders in our team. We need a consistent 6th man

And trading Clark is not smart. Good contract, rebounds, defends, even passes...all on a very good contract.

Having Clark step up is like we never loss Jordan Hill.

Mark Medina@MedinaLakersNBA

At Lakers All Access: Mitch Kupchak says "we don't have many options. We won't be overly active on the trade market."

Mark Medina@MedinaLakersNBA
Kupchak's main reasoning for probably not making moves is injuries & D'Antoni not having full training camp

We've heard that one before.

Interesting statements but I'm not sure what you think of as "depth". Expound s'il vous plait...
