Yea but his trade value is quite low and what mitch and friends may think they should get out of him is either not there or not possible.

Trade Pau Gasol for depth. This teams doesn't need another go to guy. You already see what a little youth and athleticism can do. (Thunder, Spurs, Clippers) They have their big time Star players. But they also have a bunch of useful players that contribute and know their roles.

Wow. I've gotta' say out of all the years I've seen you posting, that's gotta' be the first time I've ever seen you make a post with some kind of humor at all. Nice to know you've got some personality in you.

Just a thought but IF we are able to acquire a player like Rudy Gay, we could potentially see a lineup of:

Dwight
Clark
Gay
Kobe
Nash

That is a very athletic lineup that would definitely fit D'Antoni's system.

Just a thought of mine. Not saying it will happen.

People don't understand you can't just trade a player and get 2-4 solid players back for him. If the other team did that, they'd have a lot of wholes in their roster. It's like saying to the us, "I'll trade you an underperforming, declining player that's old (dirk) for your 2 of your 3 best best players off of your bench and your starting power forward. " that's insane to ask of a team.

we get our go-to-guy for our bench in crawford,,,we can start crawford or ariza,,,and we get a backup 5(which we need)

perfect trade for us,,would the Wiz do it?

I'm not sure i'd call it a perfect trade. Crawford isn't a good defender and Okafor is hardly a good fit in a D'Antoni system. Ariza would be nice though. I'd still do it though. And the Wizards might do it as well.

a center is a center(hed be our backup center, CLark is our starting 4..u know...). and our bench needs a go-to-scorer for when things get stagnant with all those horrible offensive players in the 2nd unit. and ariza is overrated

I still said i'd do the trade.

Ariza is overrated as a go-to guy, which he have proved these past few seasons. But if he just accepts that he is a roleplayer and focus on defense and corner-3s he'd be fine.

How about this one:
Lakers get George Hill + Sam Dalembert.
Indiana get Monta Ellis
Milwaukee get Pau Gasol and either Meeks or Morris.

Hell no. Pau has been dissapointing this season, but we can definitely get a better package than that.
