Why would the Cavs take Pau anyways?

They are going for a Top 5 Pick, and are building a young team. The last thing they need is a player getting them over 10 wins like Pau.

lol

I like Gibson, he can light us up from three. Much younger and quicker than Blake and Duhon

I don't think Gibson is that good I remember back in 2010 he got a little bit of shine because him and Lebron were good friends but ever since Lebron left I haven't seen much from him at all honestly

They will get some young players and picks....not a vet.

I just don't see this happening.

What the Cavs need is a polished older Veteran to help that team out they have enough Young talent they really don't have a good balance

People don't understand how valuable his expiring contract will be next season. A team can get some production this season and then that contract alone will be able to bring back good pieces or give a team a lot of cap space

Its inexcusable to play next to two of the greatest guards of their generation and shoot 40% from the field. Just unacceptable. Hes still shooting a poor % from the field even after Nash has returned. Looking at his and his contract along with our recent trade history who in their right mind is going to want Pau? I dont think we can even get bad contracts players for him. Right now we're stuck with him, lets just try to work out this marriage. He has no business finishing games unless hes playing well, D'Antoni was right all along that this dude is shaky in close games but gave him the benefit of hte doubt after the dinner and let him finish 2 of the last 3 games, Pau has not looked convincing on either end at all. Just use him on the team but dont let him finish games, hes too mentally fragile or whatever the hell is going on with him. Then trade him in the offseason when he becomes an expiring contract. Really disappointing what has happened to him, hes not even competing and battling any more thats the least he could, he wont even try harder.

What if we put the España jersey under the Lakers one...OMG! He will transform into a awesome player again, and then we can trade him before anyone realizes that we tricked him into thinking he was playing for España and not the Lakers. Before we send him out we will burn the España jersey so they get the crappy Pau.

Andre Bargnani, sidelined by a ligament tear in his right elbow, is "a lock" to be traded, a source close to the situation told ESPN.com
Before anything can happen, Bargnani has to get healthy, which remains a waiting game. He was expected to miss at least three weeks with the injury, but that time frame lapsed this week. We'll let you know if we hear anything regarding his elbow, but it sounds like any return to Toronto won't last long. Sat, Dec 29, 2012 09:34:00 AM

Pau isn't going no where.

A lot of you guys wanted Dwight on this team and you see how well that is working.

Please kill your inner GMs and let the Mitch handle the needs for the team.
The Lakers FO knows more than you. Sorry.

so you didnt want dwight? kill YOUR inner GM. he will be amazing when he gets healthier, which will at least be by the playoffs, which means we're gunna win the title. BOOM,BYE

Kobe and Randle led Lakers lead the team to a 32-50 record. the Lakers select Myles Turner with the 5th pick.

Compared to the situation out in Philly, it's working amazingly well.

If pau isn't going anywhere then neither is this team.

And these pathetic shots that some of you keep making at DH is ridiculous. What part of coming off back surgery don't you understand? He's still playing relatively well.

Pau Gasol is GONE

Yes because Bynum is racking up triple doubles up in Philly each game.

Howard is horrible.

Anderson Varejao is three times Jordan Hill. He's arguably an all-star out East...putting up 14/14 with very good defense.

Per 36 minutes their stars are pretty much the same, actually.

Having Varejao starting and Hill coming off the bench would be awesome.

The funny thing is We would have had so much Cap room and got rid of two declining players for a player who is pretty much the clippers by himself
