My father is a doctor. I asked him about this and he said it just means the tissue on the bottom of your foot is swollen. Asked him if you could play basketball on it he said "no problem at all, it's nothing." He will play unless they are using this as an excuse to keep him from getting shat on by Lamarcus Aldridge.

Well thank god its nothing.

Pau can't even stay healthy this season first it was his knees now an a MRI shows he has plantar Fantis or something like that

Lol he misses a few games this year and now apparently he's the Andrew Bogut of the Lakers.

Here's another scenario that helps out both teams:
Celtics get: Pau Gasol and Chris duhon
Lakers get: Avery Bradley, Jeff green
Don't know if salaries work. If not, third gets involved.

Helps celtics: they NEED a 7 footer next to Garnett, Jeff green isn't being used there properly, not enough minutes to go around at the guard spot when Bradley gets back.

Helps lakers: Bradley is lakers dream backup point guard. Green is the perfect stretch four for this team.
Lineups:
Rondo/duhon
Terry/barbosa
Pierce/lee
Garnett/bass
Gasol/bass/Collins

Nash/Bradley
Bradley or Kobe/Meeks/Morris
Kobe or metta/green or metta
Green/Jamison(got him some minutes
Dwight/hill

Possible rotation for lakers:
Nash,Bradley,Kobe,green, Dwight all start.
Nash and green come out around the 5 minute mark of 1st quarter. Meeks and metta come in, now the lineup is
Bradley
Meeks
Kobe
Metta
Dwight

Then with 3 minutes left in the 1st quarter, Bradley, Kobe, Dwight come out. Morris, Jamison, hill come in.

Lineup at:
Morris
Meeks
Metta
Jamison
Hill

Then at the 10 minute mark of the 2nd Nash, Dwight, and green come back in, for Morris, and Jamison
Lineup at 10 minute mark of 2nd:
Nash
Meeks
Green
Hill
Dwight

At the 8 minute mark of the 2nd, Kobe comes in for hill.
Lineup at 8 minute mark of second:
Nash
Meeks
Kobe
Green
Dwight
At the 6 minute mark of the 2nd, Bradley comes in for Meeks.
Lineup at the 6 minute mark of 2nd:
Nash
Bradley
Kobe
Green
Dwight

At the 4 minute mark of the second, metta comes is for green.
Lineup at the 4 minute mark of 2nd:
Nash
Bradley
Kobe
Metta
Dwight

Rinse and repeat for the second half.
Approximate minutes for each player:
Nash (34)
Bradley (28)
Kobe (34)
Green (30)
Dwight (38)

Metta (24) it won't bother him because we will be winning and he will be closing out games.
Meeks (18)
Hill (14)
Jamison (10)
Morris (10)

Rolling 10 deep perfectly.

Thoughts? Anything I need to fix?

Do you like the trade? I think Avery Bradley is a great defender and has a good balanced offensive game.

i like Avery Bradley but not Jeff Green too much... but that trade is unrealistic why would they sign Green for that HUGE contract and then trade him away? for a 32 year old PF on the decline and a useless PG? and they have Brandon Bass, Jared Sullinger, KG, and Fab Melo(who had 17 rebounds 14 blocks, and 16 points in the DLeague but is still a project).... and Jared Sullinger is their most effective big man next to KG but it seems like Doc doesn't know who he wants to play consistently

The Celtics confuse me more than our team because they have a great balance between Youth and Veterans but still can not get it done... it is probably because Rondo is taking more of a scoring role and is throwing off the offense

they would do it in a heartbeat, they would give up way more.
not a good trade for us tho. we need a 6'10 stretch 4 who can rebound and shoot 3s and bench help.period.

Edited by GMTradePau4aBench, December 28, 2012 - 12:54 PM.

Kobe and Randle led Lakers lead the team to a 32-50 record. the Lakers select Myles Turner with the 5th pick.

Why would the Celtics Draft two big men just to trade for another that's under performing??? They would not like this trade at all

This is not a good trade based on money and the player that they are receiving and what they are giving up... Avery Bradley is a guaranteed starter when he comes back from his Injury... I repeat they would not like this trade purely based upon contracts the type of player they are getting in return and what they are giving up... if they give up green who would be Pierces back up? Kris Joseph? LOL .. they would not like this trade at all

Why are you evaluating the trade for there side? I already three celtics fans said they would do it. Avery Bradley is one of the best defenders in this league. Jeff green is exactly what this team needs, right they're both young isn't that what you want? Gasol isn't giving us [expletive] on defense. And don't ever come back with saying that the celtics wouldn't do this trade because fab melo had a good d-league game.

Celtics want to win now if you haven't noticed cj they aren't going to wait for Dillinger and fab melo to become as good as Samuel dalambert. Win now.

Jared Sullinger is actually good and contributes everytime he gets a decent amount of minutes and Gasol will not help the Celtics at this point... they pretty much have the same bigs from last year plus Sullinger and minus Greg.. the only thing that has changed is that rondo is taking more of a scoring role and Ray Allen isn't there anymore... and they have Lee and Terry under performing as well

It is sad that two seasons ago we discussed Pau for Rondo and now we are settling for a backup PG who hasn't played a single minute this season and an underperforming Jeff Green with a history of health issues.
