With Bargnani out, the Raptors have won five consecutive games.

Just saying.

and isn't this after he said the Raptors were the worst team in the league and couldn't win?

Whatever he said, and meant...he should have just said he's one of the worst starting PF's in the NBA, because he is.

glad to see this thread back in the big leagues. is it back because nash is back - Pau's final chance is here..?

id LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE to see the lakers trade pau for Ilyasova and Udrih and SIGN delonte

Ilyasova is shooting 32% from 3 this year(44% last year from 3) , last year he grabbed 9rpg in 27mpg , the bucks have fallen out of love with him, hes only playing 22 mpg this year. HES THE PERFECT 4 for us, one of few!(maybe the only one available)

Udrih is a very underrated pg,also! (big piece in this deal cuz our bench suckssss)

i would love to see Nash and Dwight with a PF who can hit 3s ala Frye and Anderson!!

also this 2nd unit would be awesome, our low scoring 2nd unit WILL be our downfall if we dont improve it.
Udrih
Delonte
MWP/ebanks
Jamison/Hill
Dwight/ilyasova

we need a 4 who can shoot 3s(Antoni has made that clear by telling Pau he needs to shoot 3s) and we need bench help. and our PF has to be able to rebound. and the bench specifically needs dribble penetration, our 2nd unit might be the only unit in the league without that.

"It's Pau who has to expand his game, and he'll expand out in the corner threes and he needs to take a couple, and we'll get him in the post when we can," D'Antoni said, emphasizing those last three words as if to pound the point that he's making no promises to Pau. "But if we can't, we'll just get him relaxed and then everything will be good…Just try to figure out how we're going to win, how we're going to co-exist." - Lakers HC Mike Antoni

Pau for Ilyasova/Udrih

Pau for Mullens/Sessions - dont sleep on Mullens, he played great against us. hes grabbed 9 rebounds+ in 9/26 games, including games of 12,14,15,17 rebounds. hes also shooting 31% from 3..

Pau for Hawes/Nick Young - hawes is shooting 38% from 3 this month. Young would give our bench a go-to-ish option on the wing, the 2nd unit needs someone who can create on the wing

How about this one:
Lakers get: Spencer Hawes, Michael Beasley, Markieff Morris
Philly get: Gasol, Jared Dudley and Ebanks
Suns get: Thaddeus Young, Nick Young and Earl Clark

Why?
Lakers: Hawes will play the back-up C (and some PF), Beasley will be starting PF and Morris the back-up 4. All of these guys can both shoot and rebound very well. Also, we get rid of Ebanks and Clark.
Philly: Gasol and Dudley is perhaps the veteran presence needed in Philly to complement a young strong core of Holiday, Evans and Bynum.
Suns: Getting N.Young and T.Young is a good start for a team building for the future.

I don't want a deal for Pau that brings back a stretch 4, unless its Anderson. Metta and Jamison would be just fine in that role even if they are inconsistent at times.

I want SF, a bench scorer, and draft picks if possible.

so you want us to getoutrebounded, or at the very least give up our rebounding/size advantage... do you not remember when we had an undersized 4(jamison) playing mad minutes, we gave up 15+ offensive rebounds more than a few times and it cost us games!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (its ok to change ur opinion, bro)

we'll get outrebounded(see above) , and the Celtics would be DAMN good with Gasol, damn good. theyd be big, with scoring threats on the wing, too.pierce and terry can reallllly score,PLUS Hondo(lol) ,PLUS all that size , rondo playing with 4 shooters...

I don't want to change my opinion. I'm sticking to it. Like I said, Jamison, Metta, Hill, and Howard would be fine as our big rotation do long as we receive what we need in a Gasol deal. A SF that can defend and hit the 3 at a decent clip and a scorer off the bench.

Your proposed ideas of Ersan and Udrih or Hawes and Young don't add up financially, and I personally wouldn't consider them if they did.
