Honestly, I keep him for the last year. And sign someone else 2014. Or sign him for wayyyyy cheaper.

With Howard potentially re-signing with us, we cant keep Pau and Kobe financially

I personally like the way Pau has been playing, but that expiring contract matched with a motivated FO can bring in some REAL talent this offseason. We will obviously go after some youth and athleticism. Most likely a Bledsoe-type backup point, and a shooting 3/4. Get healthy over the offseason, resign Dwight, amnesty MWP, and sign a backup for Kobe.

LeBron James will NOT leave the Miami Heat.

Pau says he's playing through tendinosis in both knees: Degeneration of tendon tissue. He'll look for regenerative solutions this summer.

Gasol = Bryant.

He can handle playing 48 minutes.

Trade for Austin Rivers, say, Hill & Johnson.

Is he even top 10 at his position?

Just among guys currently at PF:

Blake Griffin

Kevin Love

Dirk Nowitzki

Zach Randolph

Serge Ibaka

David Lee

Josh Smith

Kenneth Faried

Paul Millsap

Jeff Green

That's 10 off the top of my head. I think you can have a debate with the last 4. But, that's not even counting PFs that currently play at C. If you count them, he's definitely not in the top 10.

I've been talking a lot of Pau lately. But what can I say? He's on my mind. There's lots of well-documented problems with this team, but this doesn't get talked about enough.

If we include the 4 PFs currently playing C(Tim Duncan, Kevin Garnett, Lamarcus Aldridge, and Chris Bosh), you might have to have a conversation about top 15 now.

I said before the trade deadline that I'd do Pau for Avery Bradley and Jeff green, and you guys laughed at me saying that they both are, at best, bench players. Now look at those same people.
