Wow really? I thought it was pretty obvious. Reread it again. I compliment and backup Kobe a couple times while criticizing Pau it's pretty clear

It just sounded like you were bashing both lol

Oh ok lol well this is the best way to vent my frustrations over the last two games so I thought I'd take a sarcastic twist for once. There are actually people on this forum who believe that. Kobe Bryant is and has been the LEAST of our problems since the day he became a Laker and why people somehow STILL don't understand that is 100% beyond me. He's not perfect but his pros far outweigh the cons. I'm just so [expletive]ing pissed that he may not get a chance to win #6 this season because of a simple adjustment our coach can't make. I'm not saying we're gonna win the title if we make the playoffs, but I want Kobe to have every goddamn chance at getting that next ring in the twilight stages of his career.

 I thought the "Even though we magically started playing like [expletive] when Pau got back two games ago"... it's still Kobe's fault spelled sarcasm and the fact that he's 34 playing at this high of a level in his 17th season was enough to say I wasn't blaming Kobe haha. But I guess it was a little dry lol I'll work on it.

Sure you were. Why was this thread revived again? When we still have 12 games left?

Haha ok dude you go ahead and think that I was actually being serious. I'm definitely one of the top Kobe homers on this site. Clearly you haven't been around long enough to know that.

Oh I know why don't we just do what I did in 2k13...

The Knicks get bounced in the first round again and Carmelo refuses to commit to resign... Drama drama drama!! Convince the Knicks to take Gasol's expiring contract to give them true size passing and offense inside to appease their shooters while we get Melo.

The fans mouths water at the prospect of playing 4 out 1 in with Nash, Kobe, Carmelo Anthony being the shooters left open contend for or win the championship.

Then in 2014 bring in Kevin Love and Convince Carmelo to sign for less money so that they can both be here.

Enter the 2014 season with a starting lineup of

Nash
Kobe
Carmelo
Love
Dwight

Win the next two championships, convince Kobe to stay one more year, sign Kyrie Irving, win one more title, let Kobe retire gracefully.. Still have a team with Kyrie, Love, Carmelo, and Dwight in the starting lineup.

Its the perfect plan! I'm the best 2k GM evar!

I always tell myself...what in the hell was the Lakers FO thinking when they approved Kobe's contact....[expletive] is ridiculous no matter how you look at it. I know Mitch kupchak kicks himself everyday from it too.

And who would want a $19 mil dollar player on their team that's not LeBron? But instead is a Declining player who is injury prone.

I hate Laker fans like you that blame Kobe for anything wrong with this team... when Kobe doesn't play do you know how HORRIBLE of a team we are?? and his contract is justified considering he is one of the best basketball player in the league!!.. and he's coming off the books after next year... so it really doesn't matter he also put up one of his best season this year and should be MVP this season

I've always thought the Lakers needed to trade Pau for more reasons than just how he's performed. He's been playing well, but he just doesn't match-up with the rest of the NBA at PF. A lot of teams use either wing players or players only slightly slower. It's not a good fit on offense or defense.

I guess it's good to see Pau playing well. For a lot of the season, he was just awful for reasons that go beyond role.

Upped his trade value that's for sure.

More likely Minni will trade us Kevin Love for him if he keeps this up.

Or Gasol realizes the Lakers season is on the edge so he's seeking a happy ending ..

Would still trade him, because he's regained some of his lost value.

Lakers will sell high

If the right deal comes along you have to trade Pau. If not, its only one more year.
