mike brown isnt impressing the front O in the slightest bit ,on either side of the ball. and with Dantoni being Eyed, seems like they think he's super pathetic on O- the front O just brought in mad players, they cant be happy. we need ANY coach to try this lineup.

NAsh
Meeks
Kobe
Jamison
Dwight

get the "MVP ROLE GUYS" we brought in GOING, Nash will jumpstart their games , and vice versa

aw hell no!

Either bring Phil back or dont change [expletive]

Phil isn't coming back, and Jimmy isn't letting him even if he wanted to.

Brown is not fit to coach the team, he is completely in over his head. He has to go...and the more the Lakers wait is just postponing the inevitable.

Make the change now, and you can potentially save the season, wait until the All Star break, and we're basically lottery bound.

I think it is one of those tweets just to cause stir and get some followers. We are 0-3 now. If we are like 0-6, then yeah I understand.

How much more time does he get? Will you feel the same way when we're 0-5, how about 0-10?

When is enough, enough?

I think it's too early to fire Mike Brown, but if we do, I would prefer hiring Brian Shaw, who should have replaced Phil. I don't know if it's even possible to discuss such things with a team's assistant coach during the season.

Who knows if D’Antoni rumors are true but in any sophisticated businesses you always plan for contingency. You hope for the best+have a plan

This is all I could find on the hoopshype twiiter feed. I'm guessing theres not much to this rumor. D'Antoni did a horrible job over at the Knicks and he never could win anything with the suns. He is very good at offense but our team needs defense not offense.

Mitch has said in previous players that He, his staff, and Jim always think of "what ifs" and always have plans for the future. When he said it, he was regarding the players. The same can be applied to Brown.

Well maybe by fans and analysts but not by people who matter. People just trying to get twitter followers.

They have 30k followers. If you look at their tweets, they don't post BS stuff.

Give this offense another few weeks. If we don't show signs of significant improvement, fire Brown, hire D'antoni, and trade Pau/Metta for athletic players who can run and space the floor.

Doesn't mean they didn't get a bad rumor. I just cant imagine a team firing a coach after 3 games unless something happened like he punched a player or something.

This is just hearsay right now. It wouldn't surprise me if they're having conversations and gauging interest...but to say that anything's been done already would be premature. I think Brown gets a chance to show he can produce under extreme adversity. There's also the "we're learning" excuse and the injury excuse. Not saying those aren't legitimate...but the way the Lakers are playing they'd lose to everyone.

I think worst case scenario, if we get to something insane like 0-10, then management has no choice, but until then....if Brown can find a way to win even one game, I think he saves his job.

I'm not saying its a legit rumor. I'm just pointing out this isn't an account that has 20 followers so the reason of "getting more followers" is not a reason

Apparently Nash already has the green light to do whatever he wants.

Offensively we will benefit. Because L.A.K.E.R pointed out last night that our problem actually is our offense. It's not efficient enough for us to even have a chance. So much turnovers and ISO basketball between Dwight and Kobe its not even funny. Hopefully once we crink up our offense we will have a chance to play some defense.
