Just a rumor I found off a twitter account. But this is interesting. Im not a fan of D'Antoni but I know Kobe and Nash both respect him.

RT @NBARUMORS: According to sources, Lakers have identified Mike D'Antoni as a possible replacement for current head coach Mike Brown.

The twitter account usually posts credible news but I'm just passing this along

So we're not planning on playing defense this year? Got it.

Dantoni's Run and Gun can't win championship. We just have to find a great pick and roll coach.

Bring in Rambis is as the defensive coordinator and I'm all for it.

I know Nash would be happy with D'Antoni letting him run the show how he wants to.
Yeah.

Dwight will be THE D when he gets healthy. he made ORL a top 3 D year after year. and i really thought mike brown was a Defensive specialist. this rumour of Dantoni blows my mind tho, im shocked.

Big 4s are OVERRATED. you think Nash/Kobe/Dwight cant carry the whole Offensive load!?

I approve. Give him a defensive coach like Rambis next to him and he should do fine.

This is what I was talking about. Fans want Brown fired to bring back Phi but that's not happening. Fans are going to be picky if Brown gets fired but this isn't the off-season where we can get a high profile coach.

IDK man, he had Woodson next to him in NY and that did nothing.

Not happy if it's only D'Antoni coming in, we'd need a legit defensive coordinator alongside him. I don't want us to improve in our offensive execution only to start giving up 105 ppg.

News travels fast...I am mixed on this.

Pringles offense will suit Nash...but I am not sure it will suit everyone else.

Hire D'Antoni. With the players we have on the roster, our d will eventually become what we thought it would be. This coach is an offensive guru & has the respect of the players.

(Im all for staying patient with brown, but really? Rotations are [expletive] & our d is a problem - along with the offense. With a defensive minded coach, this shouldnt be the case)
