I'm sorry but do some of you understand that movies need characters with depth and moral ambiguity to lead them

Characters like darth maul are supporting characters for a reason. They aren't interesting. They are one dimensional.

Yoda, Obi wan have depth and to some extent boba fett through the prequels he was given depth after being a completely shallow mindless character in the originals

Ok...why exactly?  Christmas is the biggest movie going season of the year, so I don't see why they wouldn't just make the release on Chrismas Day...

30 years after episode VI...makes sense being that its been about 30 years since episode VI, so the aging of the original characters will be accurate...haha

Billy Dee!!!

His dancing was terrible and he's really let himself go (physically), but the way they put this all together and the music selection/remixes was all just great man. Really enjoyed the Jabba The Hutt themed song around the middle as well as the detail change with the red lighting, but seriously, I mean you expect the female to do more work being that she's the pro and she's in shape as well, but my gosh, she made him look even worse outworking him BADLY. I mean it almost looked like Lando wasn't even moving at all, lol.

Chewie is back.

Peter Mayhew will play Chewbacca for Disney and Lucasfilm's upcoming sequel, sources tell The Hollywood Reporter.

Mayhew played the legendary Wookiee and Han Solo's co-pilot in the original trilogy, beginning with Star Wars Episode IV - A New Hope in 1977. Rumors recently surfaced that he was reprising his role after he canceled an upcoming appearance at Texas convention Comicpalooza "due to filming." Since the convention takes place May 23-26, many fans wondered if that meant the actor would be busy with Episode VII.
