With Posey to the hornets and Ron-Ron to the rockets the phrase kobe stopper has once again popped up in Nba circles. My question is too Lkare fans, who from your standpoint, is the individual(s0 that gives Kobe a hard time?
IMO
Battier is the only one i can see right now...john Salmons did a good job in the preseason... T prince and the pistons also give Kob a hard time

LOL no one can stop kobe
NO ONE
I guess you forgot he lit up Battier to 2 50 point games only a season ago and dropped 56 on him in 3 quarters when Kobe was only 23.
Salmons did his job...in preseason when Kobe was not even looking for his own shot
Prince is surrounded with good help defenders and thats one of the reasons why they contained Kobe in the finals

yea, but i was talking about individual defenders and give prince his due, and kobe was trying to score on salmons, there was some bravado going on between the two players... also battier has done the job recently
Individually no one can stop Kobe, im serious
Prince did an excellent job and forced him into spaces where there was help.
Battier forced Kobe into that horrible shooting night in Houston...with the help of his teammates. if you're talking about individual defenders in this league, there is no such thing as a Kobe stopper.

of course no one can STOP him, but f you force him into help you have done a good job on him, kobe's the greatest in the game, but there are nights when he is effectively defended...eric snow used to do a great job...thats why lebron beats the lakers so often
exactly its a testament to how good the help defense is when you're complimenting that defender
Poor help defense is the biggest reason why we lose to teams like the Cavs

Any team with a shotblocking threat can throw a PG that is quicker than Kobe at him on D and dare Kobe to try to post him up.
Kobe picks up offensive fouls at record rates against quicker players.

I'm BAAACCCKKKKK!!!
