Well that sucks. But at least it's a short term injury.

True, but this will be a setback for the progression

He'll be out for much longer than a week. When Lillard kneed him in the shin, it didn't even look that hard.

Nash just needs to get healthy. He should take as much time as he needs to get healthy. At least it's not something that will keep him out for an extended period of time.

This will now be used as an excuse for not firing Brown.

Morris will benefit from this injury, i liked what he did yesterday, not that he did good but played better than he used to, he's starting to understand the game a bit..

Hope Nash have a better start when he comes back

Duhon, for all his faults, is still an experienced vet, and is nowhere near as worthless as Morris is. Morris wouldn't crack many D-League rosters.

I don't know what Brown was thinking bringing Morris as the first guard off the bench. Duhon was clearly the better choice.

he still plays out of control at times and makes bad passes when he doesn't need to. Those are the main problems with him. He has a tendency to rush things and play with a "me against the world" college mentality at times. He grasps basic concepts of being a point guard and does it well in practice, but when the lights come on that nickname they gave him comes out and he needs to repress that and play at a controlled pace if he wants to put it all together. We haven't seen that as of yet, maybe in flashes but not consistently enough.

If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.

You should reach more often ;)

I get nervous when I see Morris play. He hit a wide open 3 though which was great. Otherwise I felt like he was going to turn the ball over every time it was in his hands.

I suffer panic attacks when Morris is in the game. It's unbearable.

Morris can't pass, has poor court vision, can't run a break to save his life, and can't even pull down a rebound. Then he gets this salty look on his face when he screws up....like he's mad at.....somebody, not himself though.

Where is all this hate for Morris coming from? it would be hilarious if he just started balling out and took Steve Blake's minutes

Yeah you're right, but i felt he played more in a calm way, lifts his head up than what he used to do as you mentioned" me against the world"

you gotta benefit from his height as a pg. When you are around elite players like kobe and nash, you have to benefit from every word every advice every play. He has to step up, and i think he will, not to turn into Bledsoe but to al least to be an okay back-up. His defense yesterday was more intense than before.

i think he can be okay .. but it doesn't kick in right away ..

His terrible play on the basketball court. That's where it's coming from. Morris has been a terrible, terrible backup point guard for us.

How in hell is he terrible for us when he barely played?

169 minutes in 19 games last season.

Look at the whole team with Allstar lineup struggling to win a single game. Think about how it is for the rookie* especially with Mike Brown not trusting any of the bench players.

I'd rather see Morris making a mistake than Blake. That is how you learn when you are young.

Was hoping there wasnt a fracture. ugh but at least its a small one. He will be back soon. Just a freak injury that could happen to anyone. Has nothing to do with age.

It's a crack in the bone....a stress fracture. The bone itself is not displaced.....that's why he isn't out for 2 months...which a normal fracture would entail. This type of injury can be played on, but not without pain. And it will be painful for a while
