Delonte West re-signed with the Mavs with a 1 year deal so he basically controls where he gets traded to. Mavs and his agent are trying to work out a destination for him right now, guess who Delonte's agent is? Dan Fegan...Dwight's agent.

I'm cautiously optimistic. We don't look good right now, but we'll work the wrinkles out. The thing I'm mostly worried about is in a big playoff game if we revert back to this team we've been seeing this preseason and in that situation I'd much rather have Phil on the bench than Mike Brown.

west's conract wont suffice for either player. theyll have to add in fillers and no one wants those scrubsI don't mind Delonte in a trade if we can get rid of Duhon and Blake.

Never mind. Just read Dallas isnt looking to trade him. Hope the Mavs just buy him out or whatever

Optimism thread not a "i wanna express my distaste for a coach that isn't Phil jackson cause im still not over it" thread.
If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.
You should reach more often

No, I'm just very aware how overly critical of the guy people are here. Especially in pre-season when it's been stated he's playing certain players in positions to save their legs for the season, which is why we don't see Gasol in the block much and more so on the perimeter.
But those that refuse to do research and act like they know everything have no idea about it and speak as if they are in camp themselves

I'm not that crazy about Ebanks' performance tonight. 6-12, yeah 50%, but I realistically doubt he will get that many attempts come regular season often. He might've been chucking a bit for now taking advantage of preseason time.
If we get Delonte, I think he and Metta would get along just fine. I can easily see quite a lot of similarities.@DuranSports

I hope he's not sacked because that would most likely mean the Lakers are performing badly. I still don't think he's a good head coach, though.
