There's really nothing positive to say about this team. This team is an absolute disgrace. They're just not good enough on all levels.

Maybe he'll get healthy and return to beast-form. Maybe with some younger, faster, quicker teammates to help out on defense his issues won't be magnified. But as of right now, I would rather trade him for a few pieces and draft picks. Bynum looked like Hakeem compared to Dwight offensively.

-Fire the GM and coach.
-Trade Pau, Nash, and even Kobe for younger talent.
Kobe has a no trade clause. But if they float it out there that they might use their amnesty on him, I think he'd accept a trade to a good team. They would have to take a huge loss in talent return, but it's worth it if they can get some young talent back that would make Dwight feel better about the future of this team.
I think we all know the coach is bad. But, the GM has been too. He's been terrible at building entire rosters his entire tenure here, and I think that needs to change.

Chandler Parsons 2-3
Kenneth Faried 3-4
Tony Allen 2
Delonte West 1
Arron Afflalo 2
Avery Bradley 2
Corey Brewer 2-3
Eric Bledsoe 1
Isiah Thomas 1
Matt Barnes 3
Nick Collison 4
Jared Dudley 3
Marc Gasol 5
Danilo Gallinari 3
George Hill 1
Serge Ibaka 4-5
Jarret Jack 1-2
Carl Landry 4
Luis Scola 4
Anderson Varejao 4-5
Gerald Wallace 3
The main thing I like about them most and that they have in common is that they all truly play HARD night in night out. You won't find a lot of guys that work harder than these guys. They obviously might not be the most skilled or star type players, but they're all more than capable and especially with their heart & effort, they should always keep you competitive and in the game. Also, a lot of these guys are two way players, effective on both ends.
Tried purposely not to name any too non-realistic big star type players (although I know some can be argued or are borderline).

Not Matt Barnes. He has good stretches, but is way too inconsistent. He's doing the same thing with the Clippers after starting the season well. He doesn't do anything particularly well, whether it is offense or defense. He can get out-hustled sometimes too.
BTW, what are the numbers after their names?

It was too late at this point. They should've been made back in December.

A fantasy that won't happen but I think needs to happen:
-Fire the GM
Holy [expletive] are you serious!?

Yeah. He's just failed to put together complete rosters since he's been here. The Spurs' depth is what has allowed them to compete even while their core ages.
He hasn't adjusted to Kobe and Pau getting older. At that point, you need to be able to put together a roster that can win games with them playing in the low 30s in minutes.

Kobe has Meeks to back him up.

Pau is older and they put Dwight, Jamison, Hill and Clark around him.
Kobe has Meeks to back him up.
And yet they still play in the high 30s, sometimes 40+ in minutes.
It's not just their backups. They need a complete roster that's not as reliant on older players playing that many minutes.

I haven't been posting as much because I don't want to bring down anything us Laker fans might actually be able to celebrate. We've had nothing to celebrate this year.
But, this recent run the Lakers have been on hasn't really inspired any confidence. They've been better at beating bad teams. That's about it. And from the looks of tonight, maybe that was the Lakers "getting on a roll".

Gotta release some of the hate from tonight....Metta Worst Piss is a stain on this Laker season. He's a useless player easily replaced by a youthful defender willing to learn the offensive.

Will we ever play a complete 48 minute game?

I think it's time to put the minutes of MWP and Nash up for grabs. They're just not effective enough to be unquestioned 30+ minute guys. I think D'Antoni should expand his rotations, and give more minutes to players who are doing well in a given game.
Even Darius Morris was the best option in a few games when he was playing.

Most disappointing season ever.
Arguably the greatest franchise ever
