you know what. from the way our bench has played, and what we wanted from our bench's uprgrades, i think we would take the chance, if we could.. mitch was looking at CJ miles, and barbosa in the summer, and we got Meeks, who has been shooting OK, but i dont think hes the lift that we wanted. he can help, and he can thrive with nash, but i think we'll realize that our bench needs some help still..

If you think Morris should be getting burn over Blake.. then that's sad, I'm not a huge Blake fan but he's alot better than Morris

So far, it looks like our bench sucks. Lakers need more fire power. I'd say bring Delonte.

i agree bro. BUT with Jamison playing the 3, is he gunna be able to create while being guarded by quicker defenders? im not confident from what ive seen. (i like Jamison alot at the 4)
our 2nd unit needs at least one player who can create...

I saw our bench players score 55 points last night I'm not too worried about our bench. The only player on the bench that hasn't had a good game yet is Jamison but he seems to be rounding into it bit by bit.

I wouldn't say A LOT better but at this point in Blake's career he's only getting worst.... while Morris has room to improve and I'm done arguing this dumb argument I don't see how anybody could defend Blake after his terrible play for so long and Morris didn't even get a chance to improve or even get enough time to see if he was good or not let alone be in the game enough to get any kind of rhythm

Couple things:

I am not sure what the deal with this guy is. He got released for a reason, has nothing to do with his skills.

But this is a guy that might do well with a bunch of veterans around him. I say take a chance. I'd rather have him at point guard at this point (despite his being a combo guard). He can shoot, can handle the ball, and play above average man to man defense.

Also it's important to note that the Lakers had interest in West this past summer before he re-upped with the Mavs.

Well we know he was suspended for a second time. But like I said, being around some veterans like Kobe and Nash could help him regain focus.

Well considering none of our point guards outside of Nash look like they know anything about the offense, would it be that big of a deal?

I think West can pick up the offense though. You do bring up a good point about his patience
