They're dominating in every market they can get into. This Mini was to go after the 7" tablet market. There's a reason why they're the most successful company in history.

Why is it everyone rebutes bashing of Apple with "they are making a lot of money." So what a lot of companies that recycle ideas and really make nothing groundbreaking make a lot of money. Look at Young Money they make a lot of money but a lot of us know they aren't quality.
All Apple beats the competition in is asthetics, with their alluminum unibody designs and nice looking GUI. Android, Windows Phone and others are catching up very quickly in the looking good category and have already had some better features than Apple.

My mom got one of these. Honestly, she just thought the iPad was too big for her to carry around. I kind of like it, although I think tablets in general aren't too useful for me.
