Meeks was open plenty of times last night and no one found him. It's because Meeks still can't contribute consistently.
D'antoni keeps telling Meeks all he wants him to do is shoot threes the moment he touches the ball, Meeks is responding with dribbling and trying to drive and dish the ball.
Again, people don't want to say it but Brown may have been right to bench the guy. If this goes on for the next 5-6 games where he doesn't do what D'antoni is asking him to do then he may need to be benched again.
D'antoni's offense is PERFECT for him so when I see him catch the ball and decide to start dribbling instead of taking the three it infuriates me.

and every time they found him he decided to dribble instead instead of shoot it.
Meeks has said he wants to show more aspects of his game in LA to show he is more than a spot up 3 point shooter. Now is not the time to have that kind of mentality. It's probably why he isn't catching and shooting as much. He needs to realize what he's on the team for and do THAT.
If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.
You should reach more often
