@MedinaLakersNBA
Kobe Bryant when asked if he will play Wednesday vs. Clippers "Probably not"

@MedinaLakersNBA
Bryant said he'd still probably sit out if it was a regular season game

@LakersReporter
Kobe (foot) said he's "probably not" going to play tomorrow night. The foot is pretty painful. Still listed as "day to day."

This has me slightly concerned. I don't care about the preseason game but for Kobe to say he'd probably sit out if it was a regular season game is rare.

Dwight also most likely out.

Mike Bresnahan ‏@Mike_Bresnahan
Dwight Howard also expected to miss Wednesday's exhibition vs. Clips. No Dwight, no Kobe, Clippers looking good so far. Wonder who'll win...

Dwight sitting doesn't bother me as much because Hill is returning so less Sacre hopefully.

Kobe sitting out is harmful because though Meeks is coming around, I'm not sure if he's there yet. Ebanks is a servicable 2 off the bench but who is gonna play the 3 when Ebanks is in and Meeks is ssitting?

This is when CDR would be useful had they not cut him yesterday but like I said he's on the D-Fenders on call whenever but we can't exactly instantly bring him back just like that back to camp.

So that could be an issue.

Personally I don't care if either sit out as well. Clippers don't deserve to share the same floor with our stars :whistle: :laughing:

@LakersReporter

Expect Jodie Meeks to start for Kobe (foot) at SG tomorrow night.

‏@LakersReporter

Dwight Howard participated in part of practice but is not doing contact drills.

Don't mind them bringing Dwight back slowly, he is using muscles he hasn't used in forever so of course his back was sore after the game, so they are giving him some muscle recovery time which I don't mind at all.

Doesn't really concern me. Looks like we'll head into the final game of preseason looking for our first W.

DH concerns me more than Kobe. In an interview, DH said he was sore all over - understandable since sunday was his first game in six months. But he also specifically said his back was sore - that could be a problem.

It should be noted that the Lakers play back-to-back nights, so this shouldn't be a surprise that some players will be sitting out.

Back being sore is expected, he hasn't worked out the muscles in his back within an NBA environment in how long?

Back being sore is no surprise.

Just a little sore. Expect Dwight to play Thurs vs. SAC. RT @BummiNAnderson: @Mike_Bresnahan Is Dwight's back issue a setback or just sore?

Well if Kobe and Dwight are out tomorrow, then will Nash and Pau be out Thursday?!

I really would like to see one more exhibition game with ALL starters in there...

Kind of disappointing.

to me it looks like cp3 had a diva moment when Pau touched his head. cp3 aint want his waves to get messed up........ ..

Kobe and Randle led Lakers lead the team to a 32-50 record. the Lakers select Myles Turner with the 5th pick.

CP3 is a ridiculous flopper and an instigator. The more he shows of himself, the more I dislike him.
