Saw it a few hours ago. It was very good...probably better than Avengers, but I don't know.

I did read up on the Mandarin character before the movie (the comic character), and I'm sure huge comic fans will be disappointed or confused, but I won't spoil it for anyone. I never did read comics, so to me, it was awesome.

Loved it.

A good recovery from the god awful Iron Man 2.  Shane Black was a great hire for the flick.

I liked it. Felt they were trying too hard to make the film more humorous at times. Also, I didn't like how they made the suit look as feeble as a crushed soda can.

Edit: as far as comparing it to the avengers... The Avengers is still much better imo, but that was expected.

It was great, though I thought they made the "Extremis" villains a little too powerful. But great movie, and I hate that they made the Mandarin the way it was. They could've stayed more true to the comic, though I never really read any Iron Man comics in the first place, but still the way they made the Mandarin was strange to say the least.

i thought that mandarin twist was pretty cool/hilarious

and yeah i think the reason i couldn't get into it was the villains. that [expletive] with pepper at the end was so stupid (imo).

I just saw it, I thought it was okay nothing special, I agree with androsays said about how pepper knew how to work with the super strength and take down an ironman so easily, but yet they soldiers had a lot of trouble doing that. I really liked Ben Kingsley I thought he did great, and I loved how he talked in the movie lol. Also why didn't ironman call his backups right away when he was getting attacked by the three helicopters? And the post credit scene sucked, it usually tells us what to expect in the upcoming marvel movies, but in this one it didn't say crap!

Also I didn't like how they revealed that kingleys character was not the true mandarin, it sort of like happened, I thought their would be a bigger scene to show that.

I also thought it lingered in the middle, like some of those scenes weren't needed

Saw it last night, thought it was average at best. Better than 2 no doubt, but no where near iron man 1. Iron man basically became a [expletive] in this movie, too many plot holes to be happy about, and I'm a huge iron man and I just didnt see enough of good action in the suit. Give it a 6.5/10 a watch if your an iron man fan I guess, but could of been a lot better.

Also where was Black Widow :bleh:

Pretty disappointed honestly. The Mandarin...What The [expletive]???? Ben Kingsley...thumbs down.

Felt like one big gag reel attempt with minimal action scenes.

I don't know what it is with Marvel and 3s...

yeah and when it comes to Iron Man though Marvel didn't even have the "OMG spectacular" sequel before the let down of a 3rd film like X-men and Spider-man did.
