Watched it last night.

"Love me or hate me it's one or the other. Always has been. Hate my game, hate my swagger, hate my fade-away, my hunger, hate that i'm a veteran, A champion, hate that. Hate it with all your heart, and hate that i'm loved for the exact same reasons."

I did read up on the Mandarin character before the movie (the comic character), and I'm sure huge comic fans will be disappointed or confused, but I won't spoil it for anyone. I never did read comics, so to me, it was awesome.

Loved it.
A good recovery from the god awful Iron Man 2. Shane Black was a great hire for the flick.

Edit: as far as comparing it to the avengers... The Avengers is still much better imo, but that was expected.

enjoyed it, liked avengers better, but this was good
can't believe people still leave before the credits finish rolling at the end of marvel movies...all of them have post credit scenes
i'm actually excited for thor 2

It was great, though I thought they made the "Extremis" villains a little too powerful. But great movie, and I hate that they made the Mandarin the way it was. They could've stayed more true to the comic, though I never really read any Iron Man comics in the first place, but still the way they made the Mandarin was strange to say the least.

RIP Dad. I miss you so very much...

i thought that mandarin twist was pretty cool/hilarious
and yeah i think the reason i couldn't get into it was the villains. that [expletive] with pepper at the end was so stupid (imo).

If you can put away your "That DIDN'T happen in the comics!!!!!" glasses
You'll love it ![]()
If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.
You should reach more often

Also I didn't like how they revealed that kingleys character was not the true mandarin, it sort of like happened, I thought their would be a bigger scene to show that.
I also thought it lingered in the middle, like some of those scenes weren't needed

Saw it last night, thought it was average at best. Better than 2 no doubt, but no where near iron man 1. Iron man basically became a [expletive] in this movie, too many plot holes to be happy about, and I'm a huge iron man and I just didnt see enough of good action in the suit. Give it a 6.5/10 a watch if your an iron man fan I guess, but could of been a lot better.
Also where was Black Widow ![]()

Felt like one big gag reel attempt with minimal action scenes.
I don't know what it is with Marvel and 3s...
X-Men 3...Garbage
Spiderman 3...Garbage
Iron Man 3...let down
