I'm not talking about potential. I'm talking about right now. Who is the more proven NBA contributor? That [expletive]'s not even close and it's absolutely ridiculous to compare and just talk about preseason. As mentioned by several others, it was pretty obvious Douglas-Roberts didn't even get that fair of a shot during the whole preseason. Even the few games he played, he played extremely limited minutes in comparison to Ebanks and he also had to play more times than not with some of the worser super-scrubs around him. There was clear favoritism there from the get-go. He had to beat the odds to begin with big-time. In some ways, a level of disrespect considering his NBA career & resume to this point in comparison, but that's life. The playing field isn't always fair. He'll do his thing on the D-league team most likely if Majesty is right about him really going there or else somewhere else I'm sure.

it doesn't change the fact that I told you so that CDR won't make it past camp.

His demise was being in with Goudelock who refused to pass him the ball when he was wide open(and since they were competing for a spot it's obvious why) and then the fact that Ebanks torched for 20 points.

And you're picking DJO over Goudelock right? Or are you still sort of on the fence on that eventhough you feel DJO will be better for Goudelock, where does DJO fit in our system in comparison to Goudelock in your opinion?

Probably take Goudelock over DJO. Drew is actually capable of playing the two-guard position...not sure if DJO can do that. Plus, I'll take Goudelock shooting threes over DJO, even though Johnson-Odom has the range.

The amount of Mitch second guessing on the last man off the bench is staggering after how many times he's proven himself...

Mitch is the best GM in the business, bar none, no argument

But this was a mistake, and he's made mistakes before. Not one person here outside of contractual obligations can argue Morris, goudelock, DJO are better than CDR

And it was a mistake forced by giving Morris a contract they shouldn't have

Mitch is amazing doing trades, but not so much success with drafting and signings.

At the time they had no choice because Sessions was about to leave and Blake was the only one under contract so they signed for insurance at the time.

Well that's happens we you are over the cap and luxury taxes, and draft so low in the draft.

"They're all good guys and at some point and time they may have a shot at playing in the league, especially a guy like CDR," Brown said. "He just wasn't quite in the right spot to make our team right now."

"(Douglas-Roberts) played well," Lakers coach Mike Brown said. "Obviously he didn't play well enough to really stand out and earn that spot, but all four of the guys that we released ... they made our camp competitive. They brought something to the table. That's what you hope for from guys that you're bringing to camp, that they can at least make it competitive."

How is he going to stand out if you don't give him minutes you potato head.

You know that this was as much Mitch's decision as well and contracts had a lot to do with it. They'll be keeping tabs on him with the D-Fenders.

brown also made a comment on him not being in the right spot.

More than likely that has something to do with them

A) Signing Jodie Meeks

and

B) Resigning Ebanks

As well as

C) Not being able to get rid of Duhon

and

D) Jordan Hill being injured thus making Sacre a necessity

CDR had everything against him in this scenario in terms of contracts and situations.

There is more to the story not just them so It was the front office's call not Brown's.
