IMO this is going to be a turning point in not only west coast music but in hip-hop as a whole... I know K.Dot has his own thread but this album deserves it's own thread

Really happy Kendrick gave Terrace Martin an oppurtunity to showcase his production skills... Imagine a Kendrick Lamar song produced by DJ Quik?? Amazing

Decided to give it a listen after hearing good things, and glad I did it is a very good album. Really didnt listen to Kendrick before this, but after this album he has a new fan.

All I want for Christmas is a Laker girl :D

This is kinda like WTT to me now. At first it was good but not great and I expected more, but now it's been in rotation since it was released and I listen to it at least a few times a day at work

I agree I think this album is just slightly above average and isn't in the same league as Section 80, and I'm a big K-dot fan. I tried listening to it some more and it's just not meeting my expectations and just isn't that good to me.

amazing. i like the song with mary j blige. it has a 90s vibe. and please stop sayin "this album is bringin back hip hop" it always been back. you guys just listen the god damn radio. theres musci outside of the radio
