Had great music.

it did but I felt the editing of the music was horrible. The songs would just end abruptly and it'd be silence. Could have been done better. Much better. At least a fade out would have been nice. But overall great movie. Saw it twice. After the first viewing I would have said it was better than kill bill vol. 1 but after second viewing its probably not. That movie was more consistent. The down times dragged pretty badly the second time I watched it. They became waiting periods for the next comedy moment or action scene because they were a uninteresting. Having said that I think Jaime Foxx was criminally underrated in this movie. He wasn't award worthy but people just ignore him. Thought he played the part right. Action was top notch bug again not as good as kill bill. Throwing tupac in the big fight scene was genius. The comedy in the movie was probably the best and most surprising part of the movie. Tarantino has never been funnier imo

Good points last stand. Thought Fox was really solid as well. He embraced the role and made it believable.

At times the comedy gave me a blazing saddles vibe. done well considering the subject.

jamie foxx has always been an underrated actor in my opinion. he comes from a comedic background so most viewers probably don't take him seriously as an actor.

Finally watched my copy of it and it was just great!

Christoph Waltz is simply amazing in it. The guy is the best actor going right now. DiCaprio is awesome as well. Jamie Foxx, meh, not a big fan and I don't think he brought anything to the role that a lot of other actors couldn't have done, but he was better than expected.

The whole "bag head" debate scene was hilarious. Really, Tarantino just makes good films. Right when you think he may run out of steam the guy keeps delivering quality movies. i have yet to dislike any of his films (even the ones he wrote and didn't direct, "Natural Born Killers" and "True Romance").

No doubt and it's only fitting that that had to be the only scene Jonah Hill came out in.

And he was called in for the stuff he shot pretty much at the last minute. Don Johnson's role was supposed to be Kurt Russel, they started shooting it but Russell had to leave the set and go attend to personal business.

I guess Tarantino met Jonah Hill somewhere,. they got along great and he called him in for that bit right away. He had to be stoked to be in a Tarantino film.
