when i first read the title i thought it was gonna be somewhat related to circles idk why lol

For all these years, I thought this book had something to do with the number 3.14. Never bothered to check out the synopsis, and my math teachers back in HS would mention how good this book was...so I just stuck to that assumption.

Movie looks kinda boring though, judgin from that trailer..

how anyone could have interpret the movie in which ever side they chose.

I enjoyed the heck out of visuals though. It's like seeing the Northern light phenomenon on the big screen. Kinda like Contact's (1997) climax scene. I didn't catch it in 3D but I hear it's phenomenal. On par with Avatar so they say.

Finally saw this. I loved the book and thought it was a good adaptation. My only gripe is that i wish they made the twist have a bigger impact. In the book it was far more brutal.

The part where narrates the story without animals. I wish they would have shown the actual scenes in a flashback or something instead of just narrating it. Although I can see why the movie went for that, but still...

Other than that i thought it was a great film with some really stunning visuals.

Wow that movie was amazing. Idk how anyone can think that was boring. There was crazy stuff going all all the time with amazing visuals. Amazing story with it as well. This could be the best movie of the year.

Theres nothing really that goes over your head. Its simple to follow. Its just got a great story.

I think the movie chooses us as an audience to think why we believe things that we do....like faith for example, do we believe it because its so supernatural or is it because its a friendly believeable story...basically why do we believe in the things that we do...he asks the writer at the end which one do you believe in and the writer goes with the story wtih the tiger but the adult Pi has a smirk on his face when he says that. So who knows how much of what the adult Pi said was actually factual
