Pat Riley looks weird with the glasses and without the slick hair. Never realized Chuck Daly was an asst on the 6ers.

Lakers scored 115 points per game that year and gave up 109 points per game lol nobody played a lick of defense in the 70s and 80s

Nope. Different era. All of that changed with the bad boy Pistons which ushered in an almost unwatchable NBa in the 90s. Fortunately, things have balanced out somewhat.

Those Piston teams went to 3 consecutive finals, winning the last 2. Yet their impact on the NBA was felt for years after their heyday ended. I wonder how historians will look on the NBA. To me the NBA golden age started with Magic and Bird. But did it end when MJ retired? Or did it end with the bad boys? Either way, the 80s NBA was so much fun to watch....
